Easter on Mykonos

We decided to go to Mykonos for five days to celebrate Greek easter,which fell on the 5th of May this year. It was truely glorious and fortunately the weather was perfect. The staff at Panormos Villa were most helpful in directing us to an excellant Taverna just ouside of the town where we enjoyed our spit roasted lamb. Our little villa was just perfect for the 2 of us - enough privacy,very clean, well equipped and spacious with a spectacular view of the bay below. The only problem was the trip was too short, we could easily have stayed another week it was so relaxing - maybe next time!

panormos villa rental

Just returned after 13 days here with our 18yr. old daughter. Had a really relaxing time with early morning walks on beautiful beach , which unlike many of the other beaches is relatively empty and unspoilt! We stayed in the three bedroomed villa and loved the pool overlooking the beach. Only downside was the strong wind for the first week prohibiting us from eating out in the evening but managed to do so in the second week! Owners were really lovely and hospitable and added to our enjoyment of our holiday. They made it so much more than a holiday rental - akin to staying with friends! Housekeeping was fantastic and much appreciated - Thanks Irene and Sophie for all your help and cheerfulness! Mykonos is aesthetically very beautiful but expensive bt Greek island standards!
