We rented the house for 4 nights and everything was great. Hamilton was super helpful and the house is perfect. Kids loved the playroom and we really enjoyed the barbacue and hot tub. Hope to be back. Would definitely recommend to spend a few days in the Cotswolds!

Family celebration at Yew Tree Farm
I booked Yew Tree Farmhouse for a birthday celebration. The place was perfect. We had five children in our party and the games room was excellent for them. There was also plenty of room for us all.
It was well equipped and the welcome pack was much appreciated.
I also thought that Stay Cotswold was very helpful in giving lots of information up front. Would definitely recommend.

Really recommend - great place!
We had an amazing stay! The house is beautiful and incredibly spacious — perfect for our group of 12 friends. The hosts left a lovely box of goodies for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. All the rooms were large and comfortable, and the game room was a total game changer — we spent hours there! The property itself is stunning and had everything we needed for a perfect weekend in the Cotswolds. Highly recommend!

A family gathering
I booked the Yew Tree Farmhouse for a 70th birthday celebration. There were 11 of us and to location was perfect for our needs. We had a great weekend and booked a local chef to come into cook our dinner on the Saturday evening. The games room provided us with additional entertainment and we didn't realise how bad we were at pool and table football. in the area around Hannington Wick there were many places to go and visit especially RAF Fairford. The New Inn in Lechlaid on Thames was open for an evening meal on Sunday which was a godsend as not many pubs in the area were able to do so.The facilities at the farmhouse were as described on the website and the rooms were large and airy and the electric heaters were needed as the nights were chilly. The grounds were dog friendly with plenty of room to let our son's dog run around. The minor issues regarding the heating, cutlery, washing machine and tumble drier were passed on to the managing agent. All in all a good weekend was had by all.
A great space for large groups and families - we had a great time.

Perfect venue for a special family gatherint
We stayed there as a family of 14 for my mums 80th and had the perfect weekend. It has a games room of dreams - pool, table tennis, table football and an amazingly comfy leather sofa too - perfect for watching movies and sport. The kids enjoyed playing football outside and the hot tub and we had a couple of special family meals round the dining table. The smart sitting room was beautiful and it had 4 lovely kingside beds so us adults all had a really comfy bed for the weekend. We also did a couple of nice walks in a loop from the property. Really lovely venue, highly recommend!

Perfect for large family/group stay
We were a large group of 10 adults and 3 children aged 5yrs to 18mths. The accommodation was more than adequate for us and the house and large garden felt safe for supervised children of that age. We were very lucky with the weather and ate outside every day for a week. Plenty to do locally and at Yew Tree Farmhouse for adults, children and dog.
Host was very responsive to a couple of issues that were quickly resolved.

Ideal location as a base for exploring the South Cotswolds
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yew Tree - there were 12 of us meeting up for a few days walking holiday in the Cotswolds.
Although we didn't use the games room nor the hot tub, we did enjoy the comfort of the rest of the house including the garden and patio.
The only fault we could find was perhaps more organization was required in the kitchen cupboards.
Altogether an excellent venue.

A wonderful Easter holiday break with all my family.
Three generations, a party of 14, our five night stay was just perfect for us all. The Games room was the biggest hit with the teenagers and also the goal posts. We were blessed with sunshine so could eat outside the whole time. The house is gorgeous and was well equipped even a study for our grandson studying for upcoming exams. We loved it and hope to return.

Family get together
We had a great family get together, six adults and six children. Kids were happy the whole time, entertained in the games room, hot tub and extensive grounds.
Generous hamper left for our arrival, plenty of toiletries in the bathrooms and cleaning products for dishwasher and washing machines.
Great place to stay.

70th family birthday get together
Overall a very good stay. Only gripe, the garden needed mowing and tidying up. The hot tub was either cold or too hot.

Amazing house in the countryside
If you are looking for a large family/group getaway, this is a perfect venue.
Location feels like you are very much in the countryside, but still so easy to access. The house itself is truly amazing - the layout makes it feel huge and for a large group you never feel like you are on top of each other.
Had a very warm homely vibe to the house and the games room brought a lot of entertainment for our stay.
The hot tub was a bit fiddly if you arent used to woodfired hot tubs, but a nice addition nevertheless.
Great comms from the host too, really helpful when we had a few questions.

Lovely Family House
We had a fantastic stay with our Children and Grandchildren at your lovely house. We particularly enjoyed the large garden and space that the house offers. The hot tub proved very popular. We appreciated your quick response to our questions during our stay. The welcome hamper was a lovely gesture. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to our friends.
14 of us, ranging from 5 to 78 years old visited for a week long break and had an amazing time. The property and grounds were wonderful and were perfect for our large group. We had plenty of space to do our "own thing" but also for us all to be together as well.
The house is stunning - quirky and full of character. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a beautiful place to stay in a lovely part of the country.

Wonderful family home
What a great place for a family gathering. We booked Yew Tree Farmhouse for my wife's 70th birthday surprise and it was the right choice. The setting was superb, the house was wonderful and allowed great flexibility for old and young alike with the bedroom configurations. We instantly felt at home there.
The area itself has much to offer as expected of the Cotswolds. We visited both the National Trust's Chedworth Roman Villa and Chastleton House that are within a leisurely drive from Yew Tree Farmouse.
Would we go back there again? In a heartbeat.

Luxury at it's best
This is an exceptionally stunning property. It's old but warm and welcoming. Large rooms that accommodate the full capacity of guests. Everything is provided that require fo cooking, cleaning etc. Even shampoo, air fresheners and bath soak.
The games room has plenty to occupy all guests, a dart board would be a great addition. The hot tub is a fab bonus. 12 of us stayed in luxury for my husband's 60th birthday. Highly recommend a stay here.

Family Birthday Celebration
We had a wonderful time staying at Yew Tree Farmhouse celebrating a family Birthday. It is a beautiful, spacious house set in a wonderful location with lots of lovely walks on the doorstep.
You have to remember that it’s in the country and next to a working farm so you do need to be prepared for, in our case, cows mooing through the night!
The games room was well equipped and spacious and the wood fuelled hot tub was relatively easy to get going. Both were very much enjoyed.
Would highly recommend for a large group get together.

Luxury accomodation at a very decent rental price
Lovely house with everything in great working order
Felt a luxury weekend and we enjoyed the house and it's facilities very much
Lots of space for a party of 12 and enough of everything eg glasses that match etc
We all loved it.
The only complaint was the family bedroom the mattresses were very uncomfortable according to the friends in that room. But no other niggles at all.
Thank you for the welcome pack too.

Family celebration weekend
Yew Tree Farmhouse is a wonderful property, we were a family of 11 age range 70-2.5 and there was something for everyone the games room was a god send and entertained the children when they weren’t outdoors play on the swings or playing football.
All of the rooms were very comfortable and a very good size, there was plenty of crockery, cutlery, serving plates and dishes.
All in all a wonderful place for our family celebration, we had a wonderful time.
A few things that need some attention, the TV in the lounge looks like it could fall off of the wall at any time you can see the raw plugs coming out of the wall.
The draft excluder on the back door needs screwing back onto the door, it hanging off and looks like it’s been like that for some time.
There is an awful amount of weight in the crockery drawer it wouldn’t take a lot for the draw to collapse, and with such nice crockery in it, it would be a shame. Some additional crockery storage would be helpful.

Stunning House, Beautifully Decorated But A Bit Lacking!
On the surface, Yew Tree Farmhouse is a beautiful place to stay, a gorgeous property and well decorated and in a great location. We had a brilliant time but would make the following comments - the kitchen is so lovely but lacks basics - I had specifically asked ahead of time if there were casserole dishes big enough for ten people - there were none, only metal baking tins. The baking sheets etc stored in the oven were really dirty, knives were blunt etc. Also we found it impossible to get heat to the upstairs - the downstairs was warm and snug but the heat did not come on in the bedrooms, despite turning the thermostat up in the dining room - I would imagine it senses the temperature downstairs and then fails to come on upstairs so you definitely need a separate system for the upper floors as the bedrooms were cold and the bathroom towel rails did not come on at all either. Finally we tried to heat the hot tub, the time given for this was seriously underestimated and also it did not look clean so no-one got in. It was very unappealing. It is a shame as for a property of this standard, and for such a beautiful home, as these basic things let it down.
