Prince Kuhio Condominiums - These ocean view studio and one bedroom condominiums are located directly across the street from a small beach and the surfing area known as PK's. The condominiums are light, bright comfortable and airy. . The complex has beautifully landscaped grounds and a wonderful swimming pool. High speed internet.

Ideal location

Great location. Remember it’s a studio so not real big. Plenty good for 2. Great small patio. Shower leaves much to be desired……hottest water ever and impossible to cool down. Bummer after day on beach it would have been nice to Get ‘into’ a shower.

NO Sleep horrible bed and noisy fridge

Unfortunately our stay was pretty horrible. We arrived late and didn't have the access code to get in. It took several frantic calls and messages to find help to get the code. After finally getting in and somewhat settled, it was time to go to bed. I was there with my daughter, the bed was very outdated, it actually had springs. The bed was soo horrible I barely slept, because my child moved in her sleep and I was being shot out of bed. HORRIBLE

Wonderful

This property was wonderful, the grounds from the parking lot leading up to the front door is filled with beautiful orchids and exciting plants that we usually only see as our houseplants.The location is close to beaches, shopping, and food, if you are not planning on scoping out the entire island, there is a lot you could get to from just walking or riding a bike.

Excellent Location

Right across the street from snorkeling and right next door to Shave Ice and a restaurant. Many restaurants and shops within a 5 minute drive. We loved the linai with a view of the ocean.

Bigger than pics look

This place is bigger than the pictures look. Great location, can walk to the beach. Wonderful area just 2 miles up the road for a trail run. We loved it.

Great location. Property appropriate for the price .while on lanai you are Looking into a hill of the park and the ocean view is quite distant but walk across the street and you can see it front and center . Bed and room temperature were comfortable

Perfect location!

We had an amazing time. We were all over the island and Poipu was the perfect landing space. The beach chairs and I’m reload were a welcome treat so we didn’t have to bother with more rentals. We cooked and packed lunches so the kitchen was ideal! We needed a special accommodation with checking in and Anne worked it out perfectly!

Location is key

This place is clean and perfect for a stay in this area of Kauai. Washer and dryer is $5 a load and generally easy to find a spot for yours (I prefer a unit in room but it’s nice they are here at all) :) we will stay again. You truly can’t beat the location for the price on the island and you’re right across from some of the best snorkeling on the island at Lawa’i beach. The unit is cute (I don’t think the photos online give it justice). We would stay again and recommend others to stay as well. Mahalo!

Honest opinion

Has not been updated, no comfortable chairs to sit on to watch tv , brought patio chairs in each evening. Little privacy on patio as you could hear tv going on both sides. We realize it’s outdoor living and people leave their doors and louvre shutters open all the time. However in that price range for a studio in Poipu $$$, it’s a good option

Great stay in Poipu

We had a great week at Anne’s place for our honeymoon – it was a great value in comparison to other island properties, we would stay here again and recommend to others if you are looking for a quaint place to stay! Location and Property 5/5 - Right across from a small beach; pool and laundry on site; fairly quiet other than some roosters in the morning. Parking was easy to find in the parkade. Shops and food are not walkable, but a quick drive up the street. We spent our mornings on the lanai, it was private and green with a glimpse of the ocean. The screen door on the lanai was quite difficult to close though. Property was beautifully landscaped. Condo Amenities 4/5 - Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, kitchen was stocked with what we needed to cook some easy meals. Beach chairs, an umbrella, and towels provided. A cooler was provided but the zippers were corroded and made it unusable. A/C in the unit was great to have, we only needed to use it at night as we were out during the day, but it would likely get warm in the mornings as the unit faced east. Bed was large and comfortable; the curtains are light colour so if you wake up when it’s light bring an eyemask. Would be great if there were a few large Tupperware containers provided in the kitchen to store leftovers. Cleanliness 4/5 – The condo was clean on arrival. Our only suggestion is a more thorough mop of the floors as our feet were immediately getting dirty while inside (may have also been the rugs that were dirty). No bugs or anything of the like inside the unit. Communication 3.5/5 – Initial communication was great, thorough instructions were provided for accessing the property. I did reply to their email twice with no response.
