Neil was a great host. He accommodated us with an early check in, made sure we had everything we needed and gave us excellent ideas for restaurants and things to do nearby. His communication with us was excellent and quick. The description of the home was spot on and had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Would definitely come back to stay again. Thank you so much!
A lovely roomy property, our bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. It was nice that plenty of towels were provided and also supplies such as shampoo, shower gel, bin liner bags and toilet paper. Neil kindly left us crisps, cake and ice cream (unless that was left by the previous occupants, I don't know!) The kitchen was well-equipped.It was wonderful to be able to use the washing machine and dryer. The sun-porch entrance was great for storing shoes, etc, and a great area to hang wet clothes/swimming costumes during the warm weather we were lucky enough to have while there. The nice upstairs sunroom looked like a relaxing place, and but since we happened to be staying during a heat wave, it was too hot to sit up there!
It was perfect for our family since we needed three separate rooms. Neil was very responsive and helpful. It was out in the countryside near a lake which was beautiful to walk out to look at.
The lodge is perfectly situated in quiet surroundings and close to the pier. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are good, but a bit short for a tall Dutchman. We had a great stay and thank Neil for hosting us.
