Directly from the house there are paths leading to the Rudina forest (site of community interest) and the Aspromonte park which can also be traveled by mountain bike. About 8 kilometers north, along the coast is the magnificent Roman villa of Casignana with its unforgettable mosaics. Always in a northerly direction, along the SS106 coastal road, after about 25 kilometers you reach the archaeological site of Locri Epizephiri and then ascending inland for about another 8 kilometers the magnificent medieval village of Gerace with its over 100 churches. An hour's drive south, Reggio Calabria and the superb archaeological museum with the famous Bronzes of Riace and the waterfront overlooking the Strait of Messina and Mount Etna.
