About this property
Islay at Westcote Glamping - Sleeps 2
Situated on a working sheep farm in the heart of the Scottish Borders Westcote Glamping's authentic restored Gypsy Caravan Islay is a simple off-grid option perfect for couples.
Sleeping two people in a double bed (due to the size we recommend no one over 6 ft or with mobility issues books) the unit is adorned with a variety of battery and solar-powered lighting and comes with all essentials, including crockery, kettle, teapot, tea, coffee, sugar, gas heater, fire pit and external eco-toilet. Although to make a cup of tea, scramble your Westcote hen’s eggs, or grill some sausages you will have to use our shared outdoor kitchen or your unit’s own BBQ.
Westcote also has four wood-burning hot tubs - contact directly to pre-book at an additional charge!
Notes:
No excessive noise after 11 pm.
Dogs are welcome - £5 charge per dog, maximum 3 dogs.
The hot tubs are booked at an additional charge for exclusive use from 5pm until midnight. This is subject to availability, please contact directly to book.
A complimentary bottle of Prosecco is provided for guests staying three nights or more.
Additional items can be purchased, for instance, extra logs, BBQ hampers, and our own hen eggs.
