About this property

Our private, quiet home is on a one lane road in the redwoods of San Anselmo, the jewel of Marin County, yet only a short walk from downtown San Anselmo and San Rafael.
We are 12 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge, 30 minutes to Point Reyes Seashore, 35 minutes to Sonoma, 40 minutes to Stinson Beach or the wine country, 35 minutes to downtown San Francisco, or take the ferry from Larkspur, 10 minutes away. Our two story home has three bedrooms, eat in kitchen, dining room with fireplace, den with big screen tv, office, living room with piano, deck with BBQ and hot tub and 2nd deck with views of the Marin hills. Hiking and biking right out our door with miles more in the Marin headlands. Short drive to Sausalito, Tiburon, Mill Valley, Muir Woods.

Very peaceful

Our family felt so comfortable and so happy in Jill and Robin 's home. It's an incredibly clean and well organized home but more than that it is also a welcoming and eclectic space.

We are grateful that we had Jill and Robin 's beautiful house as our home base. Communication with Jill was very easy and everything was clear. The house is truly lovely and so so clean. Everything and more was available. I was able to cook real meals easily in their kitchen. We relaxed and enjoyed music and games in their home. Thank you!!

Great pied-a-terre in Marin

Lovely. cosy home in the hills but near the center of San Anselmo and minutes from San Rafael. A great place to hang your hat for a visit!

Great place to stay in San Anselmo

Jill and Robin's home is very sweet, comfortable and clean. It has all the amenities one would required when your away from home. Jill replied quickly to any questions we had and offered many suggestions to local places in the area to eat, explore and see. This is our 2nd time staying in her home and will definitely stay there again in the near future.

Comfortable, clean, and quiet

Just finished a 9 day stay at this cute, comfortable, and tidy place tucked into the wooded hills above San Anselmo and San Rafael. Communication with the host was excellent before and during our stay. The home is spacious, well appointed, comfortable, well maintained, clean, and quiet. It is close to freeways, shopping, parks, and everything else you could want for a home base to explore Marin and the surrounding areas. You can tell the host lives here by the many cute decorations but they left plenty of space for us in the fridge and dressers to make ourselves at home. There is no AC but plenty of windows keep it cool during warm days, especially downstairs. We loved staying here and hope to come back again soon.
