Summary:
This beautifully decorated 2 bedroom 1 bath condo features an open layout with its own private deck or patio that you access through French doors. High end finishes including stainless appliances, granite counter tops, knotty alder cabinets, bamboo hardwood floors. This small quaint community features gated courtyard with large fountain and seating. Condo has flat screen Smart tv's with WIFI internet service.

The Space:
The bedrooms feature king-sized beds and Smart TVs with all your favorite streaming apps. Beautifully tiled bathtub/shower combination includes shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Bathroom features a large vanity with double-sinks.

Kitchen comes completely furnished with all cookware, bakeware, glasses, utensils, toaster and Keurig coffeemaker with coffee, creamer and sugar provided. Kitchen is open to the living room and features a bartop with barstools.

Washer/dryer are included, as well as one reserved parking space.

Guests have access to the entire condo, in addition to one reserved parking space and community courtyard.

The Neighborhood:
Our Condo is located just two blocks from the Country Club Plaza and the Westport area of Kansas City. Designed in 1922, the Plaza was built as the country's first suburban shopping district. Stroll through it's endless options of stores, restaurants and nightlife. Make sure to stop along the way to admire the art & architecture. Numerous fountains, sculptures and murals make the Plaza a true outdoor art gallery. Our condo is also in close proximity to Westport, Midtown, Downtown and the RiverMarket.

Getting Around:
If you opt to not bring a car, RideShare and taxi options are plentiful and easily available. KC Metro bus line also has a nearby stop.

• No parties or events. This is strictly not tolerated.
• No smoking of any kind, includes vaping. Charges assessed for smoking.
*Pets welcome with responsible owners; certain aggressive breeds not allowed. Please inquire with any questions.
***Variations in furniture/furnishings could vary due to replacement over time, but will always be of like kind as shown in the listing photos and detail.

Condo in Great Neighborhood

We were only there for one night. We baby sat our 8wk old grandson while kids went to the Banana Ball Game. It was comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Full kitchen with a hodge podge of plates/pans etc. If you plan to cook a lot, it might be a challenge. No prep or serving containers.

As advertised. Clean and comfortable. Accessibility to the Plaza and Westport is excellent. Parking good. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is shower needs upgrade and the lock between parking lot and patio needs repair. Otherwise we recommend this property...

This could be a great place to stay at but needs to have some significant maintenance issues dealt with before I would recommend it. Emailed the management with the list of issues and never heard back. Delayed posting a review waiting for a response.

Great stay, horrible neighbors

Had a good stay at this property as we have in the past. Got unlucky this time and had romper room on the floor above us that had children running back and forth till 1 am. The host messaged them the first night and they finally stopped. Not so much luck the second night. Good, clean convenient property though

Wonderful Stay in Westport

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Westport! Location was within walking distance to the Country Club Plaza. The assigned parking spot was a plus! This is an older apartment complex, so comes with some old house vibes - door might stick, water dripped in bathtub, but the beds were super comfortable, temperature was easy to control, all the amenities you would need were provided. There is an adorable courtyard for all the occupants to share that would be fun to hang out in on a warmer day. You do have to go up 2 half flights of stairs. It was a very nice stay! We would definitely stay here again!

Convenient Basement Apartment

Sometimes you can’t tell from the online listing, but this is in an apartment-style building on the bottom floor. It felt like a basement and the bathroom had some mustiness. There are neighbors walking around above you so I was glad I brought my ear plugs. Otherwise we really enjoyed the short walk to Plaza shopping and restaurants. We slept well and enjoyed the coffee that was provided.

Quick getaway

Family Vacation and a wedding

A beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood. From the water fountain to the deck furniture everything was cozy and comfortable. The owner was quick to answer any questions and provided excellent customer service. Would 10 our 10 recommend

Felt cozy in this lovely condo.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo. It was very comfortable and had a nice kitchen & bath. We walked to the Crowne Plaza for dinner and shopping. We enjoyed the mornings on the deck watching the squirrels chase each other up and down the walnut trees. Will definitely keep this on our favorite list for future trips to Kansas City

This unit is located in an apartment building. It is surrounded by other units on all sides so keep that in mind. The place was large and the bed was comfortable, but it was dirty (dust everywhere, dead bugs in the tub) and smelled of weed; which may have leaked in from the nearby courtyard/tenants but it was pervasive. We were also required to pay a hundred dollar deposit plus provide a photo of our ID and face when checking in that was not detailed when we booked. We did receive the deposit back, but this should be explained before booking, especially since they use an outside app to collect the funds.

Visiting daughter

My daughter & fiancé live in KC. A few of us drove in from Texas to attend their engagement dinner party and for her “yes” to the dress day. The condo was very clean & in a nice safe area. We were close enough to everything in the city. The rental manager responded quickly when we had an issue with accessing at check-in. Other than that everything was satisfactory. We will definitely re-book for future use when visiting our daughter.

Maybe because we arrived when it was dark that we had difficulty finding the parking lot and enterance to the building. Signs were not visible or apparent. The guests upstairs were parked halfway into our designated spot. And often smoking on the patio that we could smell in our unit.

Nice property location

The apartment was lovely. However, on our second night there was a party and a fight in the apartment above us that finally got quiet about 3:10 am I think the police came. Also, you might want to check your cleaning service. The shower curtain had that orange soap scum and mold on it so we bought some Clorax and cleaned it up. Other than that it was a wonderful place to stay and visit with friends within walking distance of the Plaza .

Great Location & Comfortable Place to Stay

We had a great time on a KC getaway while staying in this centrally-located 2 BR/1 BA condo. Furnishings were comfortable and decor was tasteful. Just the right size space for our family of four - two adults and two older teens. The neighborhood and condo complex felt safe. We parked in the off-street lot behind the complex, and more parking was available on the street. Could have walked down to the Plaza. We spent most of our time shopping and eating out in the nearby Plaza and Westport areas. There are lots of good local resturants within 4-10 blocks. This location also made it easy to access highways for excursions around the KC area. The Google Fiber Internet and TV worked great - very fast access and all the channels on TV. TVs in LR and main BR. The kitchen was small, but more than adequate for everything we needed - all cooking/eating utensils are provided if we had wanted to fix a meal and eat in the condo. We enjoyed it and hope to stay here again.

Not really impressed

It was nicely decorated. However, I rented the apartment because I and my family would be staying a full 7 days due to myself having surgery and needing to stay near the hospital a week after the surgery. We planned on cooking and staying in most of the time to help save money. There was not enough kitchen utinsels or pots and pans to do so. Also there were not enough towels for over the 7 day span. I'm not saying there should be a towel for every day but more that 4 towels for two adults and a child. Also there were several spiders through out the space and small ants around the tub. I also do not think the price is accurate for the small space. Also it says it is gated, gated to me is security gate when only the attendants have the code. This space only has a fence around the property. Anyone can enter. A few positive things it was close to the plaza a few blocks away and it is on the second floor so we did feel a little safer.

Owner has interior cameras

We are heavy users of VRBO and have rented dozens of condos all over the U.S. We had a nice trip to Kansas City to visit our family over Memorial Day weekend. The condo was in a great central location to my family and thus we had grandparents and my brothers family over to visit and hang out in the courtyard. The condo worked great. But... The owner called after we left to say that we had broken the microwave door handle. This handle was already broken when we arrived. He was very upset and said that he would be able to see everything on his many interior cameras. We are appalled that our privacy was breached in this way and these cameras were not disclosed to us at all prior to rental or during rental. This seems shady to us, and if we would have known this, we would never have stayed here. According to Homeaway.com website, interior cameras must be disclosed to renters in a signed contract. We have stayed in dozens of VRBOs and have not had these kinds of problems.
