Lost in wonderland

The location was good for us, a quiter street but walking distance to everything. It pays to have a map though as there are many twists and turns.

Good location but needs work

This spacious apartment is in a perfect location with lots of good features but it was also lacking in many. Almost nothing was provided to get us started on our 3-week stay except the standard hotel soap, shampoo, body wash and 2 rolls of toilet paper. There was a mop and broom but no cleaning supplies to use with them and we didn’t want to buy cleaning supplies that would be left behind. There was a washing machine, but no laundry detergent. There were no extra garbage bags and we were told to buy our own. There was no dish towel, paper towel, etc. We feel that if owners expect visitors to keep the premises clean for 3 weeks, they should provide the basic materials to do so, as other VRBOs have done. A common rooftop terrace is advertised, but the door was locked and there was no key. The apartment is in desperate need of maintenance. The sofa arm was loose; the shower door comes off the track; the bedside lamp base was broken; the chain for the living room blind was detached from the wall; the coffee maker had no filter; the support for the shower nozzle was cracked, etc. The apartment walls need cleaning and painting due to scuff marks and large patches of mildew around some of the windows. There is also an all-night bar below with VERY loud patrons in the street. There are 2 construction zones on the street during the day. The loud elevator in the adjacent building is next to the bedroom wall. This place may be okay for a couple of days, but not for several weeks.

Dear guest. Thank you very much for staying in our flat. Thank you also for giving us your impressions about the apartment, so that we can improve the quality of our services. On your arrival you will find the flat with your own utensils to start your stay. We would like to remind you that this is a holiday flat and if what you need are the characteristics of a hotel, you should have chosen another type of accommodation. At the entrance you will find bathroom amenities, toilet paper and a cleaning kit in the kitchen which is very much appreciated by our guests as it makes late arrivals and first nights easier. No cleaning products are left behind for safety reasons, as children can also be accommodated and this can be dangerous. If your stay is longer, you should buy what is needed for a flat, as we cannot know your needs and it would be a waste of a lot of packaging and product with the environmental damage that this entails. We would have liked that during your stay you would have informed us about what was not to your liking in the flat and we would have gone to check it with you. We have 24 hour care 7 days a week, but you did not make use of it. Everything was checked on your departure and repaired where necessary and everything is in working order. Très bon emplacement

Communication très fluide avec le propriétaire, réponses immédiates. Appartement simple et pratique, au calme, avec un parc pour défouler les enfants juste en bas et des bars sympas et pas chers à 2 minutes à pied. Le centre historique à 5 minutes à pied.
