About this property

Cozy house in a coastal hamlet with bars, restaurants, mini-market, square and a few meters from the beach where there is a good area for the bathroom apart from having good accessibility to the highway and supermarkets.

It is a two-storey house that consists of a room with a bed of 150cm x 200, fully equipped kitchen, living room with Italian sofa-bed, TV in living room and bedroom, washing machine, bathroom, wifi and peña terrace on the 2nd floor for liven up the afternoons.

It is a place to relax, enjoy the network of trails in the Mal Pais de Güímar, discover the Güímar street market where you can find local products, visit the Güímar Pyramids among many things.

Casa Lola - a hidden gem in small beach community

This was our second stay at Casa Lola and, as previously, a joy. Please see review from December 2022 with more details as that still applies too as nothing has changed. We loved it so much the second time that we are already booked to return in December 2024. Cannot recommend Casa Lola highly enough.

Casa Lola is a beautiful small house in waterfront community El Socorro

We cannot recommend Casa Lola highly enough. It is fitted throughout to the highest standards possible. The kitchen has a superb induction hob and oven. A large fridge with a smaller freezer compartment. Loads of cupboard space. There were pots, pans, crockery of all sizes and a wide range of cooking utensils including a hand blender so you could cook just about anything. The bathroom has one of the best showers we have ever used. The rest of it is similarly equipped. The lounge has a comfortable bed sofa with an excellent quality HD TV and good WiFi router. We had no issues at all streaming content during our stay. Upstairs there is a laundry room with a wardrobe and boiler. The bedroom had a good size very comfortable bed with two bedside cabinets. It has an outside window which when blinded is nicely dark for sleeping. Then there is a wonderful terrace with high quality furniture and a great sea view. We spent many hours there breakfasting in the morning or relaxing in the afternoon sunshine. There is also a high quality wall fixed roller blind which we didn't need given the time of year but which will give shade at other times when needed. El Socorro is a small but perfect town for us. It has two bars, a restaurant and its own small but nice beach and waterfront. On street parking right outside the house was always available. Also within 2 minutes drive there are 4 major supermarkets around the motorway junction providing easy access north and south. 15 minutes from Santa Cruz de Tenerife and about 30 minutes from both north and south airports. Candelaria is the nearest larger town just one junction away and is lovely. We loved Casa Lola so much we are already booked to return in December 2023 and hopefully for many more years to come. If you want nightlife and the usual associated trappings then El Socorro isn't for you. However, if you want a peaceful and relaxing small waterfront community away from the tourist trail like we do then you will love El Socorro.
