The space was beautiful and also very quiet. The house was clean and very comfortable. The property was close to Carmel and also easy to get to and from the coastline.

Nice location very close to Pebble. Pretty guest house. Nespresso machine is not working. TV situation is sub par at best. (One small tv in the main bedroom that is slow and difficult to work.) If you are over 60 years or have any issues with walking I would advise against. “The path” to the house is basically a downhill trek through the mulch. Very difficult especially with suite cases on wheels. A nice welcome gift which was much appreciated. Washer and dryer were handy. Nice kitchen and fireplace. Very quiet.

Cozy and inviting

A beutiful cottage in a beautiful, quiet location, and quick responses to questions. But it was the little extras made this cottage a perfect place to stay - cotton, fresh-smelling sheets and towels, beautiful artwork, and a bottle of wine. Emily even mailed a pair of shorts that we accidentally left there. They made it home before we did. Thank you!

Great cottage in Pebble Beach

We spent a long weekend here over the holidays and loved it. The cottage is modern, tastefully appointed with high-end fit and finish. Location is excellent: walk to the Pebble Beach Lodge and shoreline, and a short drive to downtown carmel.The hosts are gracious and helpful, made our stay easy & comfortable.

Great location!

It was a real perk to have such close access to the Lodge and the scenery of 17-mile drive. Getting to Carmel was also a breeze. The cottage was charming, with lovely architecture across the whole property.

Exceptional location

This property is a beautiful guest house located on 17 mi drive. However our fitted sheet was torn, several of the kitchen shelves were unstable, almost causing a teapot to shatter. ( We caught it in time, miraculously). These things were minor and reported to the host on check out. The most significant issue is access down a steep hill with no pathway. We arrived when it was still light but it would have been virtually impossible to navigate at night. The pre check in description of the access point did not do it justice. We walked right by the unmarked opening in the gate.

Wonderful accommodations near Pebble Beach and Carmel

One of the nicest VRBO stays we have ever had. Plenty of room in a beautiful private setting. So quiet and peaceful yet within walking distance to beautiful Pebble Beach. There is no downside to this property.

Why they chose this property

This is a brand new cottage that was built in 2016. It's a special treat to be staying in an elegant, new and private area of this highly traveled town!

What makes this property unique

About 1 mile to the beach/coast/The Lodge at Pebble Beach/Shopping, banking and market of Lodge. Take the horse trail by the house right to this property down to 17 Miles/Forest Lake and turn left to go down to the Lodge area. Should be around 10 mins walk.

Steveson Upper School is about 500-700 yard, a few mins walk down Oleada and turn right on Forest Lake. The school is on your left.

People say that Pebble Beach was designed by a drunk sailor. So please use a GPS when entering Pebble Beach. Coming from Highway 1, you may choose to use the Highway 1 entrance or drive down Ocean Ave. through downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, turn right on San Antonio and coming in through the Carmel gate. Entrance is free when you indicate you are a guest of this address.

Please always turn off the fire place whenever you are out or asleep. Please turn off the heater when you are checked out. Thank you.
