Margarida House - Stone Apartment is a nice apartment located in the city center of Ribeira Grande. It has a privileged view of the mountain and is a great starting point for those who want to explore the island of São Miguel.
Around you will find supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and the beautiful Archipelago Museum of Contemporary Arts. Just in front is Monte Verde Beach and 2 km from Areal Santa Bárbara Beach.
The mythical Lagoa do Fogo is just a few kilometers away, as is Caldeira Velha.
We offer towels if you want to go take a bath in Caldeira Velha or even in Poça da Beija in Furnas.

We had a wonderful one-week stay at Margarita House. The apartment was comfortable and welcoming, and we especially appreciated having a bathtub—a rare treat in Europe! The bed was incredibly cozy, and we slept so well. The views from the apartment were beautiful, and the host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall, a lovely stay that we’d happily recommend.

Great location of this 3rd floor apartment that we used as a base to explore the central and western side of the island. Walking distance to a walkable beach, several casual restaurants, supermarket, laundromat. Apartment itself is good size, comfortable space, nice patio. Have to walk up 3 flights of stairs, no elevator, which worked well for us. Would stay here again.

Margarida House

A lovely one bedroom apartment. On the top floor, so nice views of the mountains from the terrace. Very well equipped. Alvaro was always there to answer any queries. We were very comfortable on our 11 night stay. Very central location in Ribeira Grande, so easy to walk to the beach, restaurants and supermarket. We LOVED Sao Miguel, and will be back!
