Need improvements

The house is not a clean property, out dated kitchen cookware. I took pictures of areas that look like they hadn’t been cleaned all year; spiders and webs in kitchen cabinets, sand buildup in the chair, couches. Location was great.

The unit met our needs. Convenient to beaches and pickle ball courts. A new dishwasher was installed during the stay, which was good. The sink faucet made a loud screeching noise when turned on. Water kept being turned off to the unit for valve replacement throughout the complex. No notice given and became annoying. Overall, the unit was great and we enjoyed our stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Arrival information was in adequate. We expected to see a human being to check us in to our condo. The condo was dirty and has not been well maintained. The owner claimed updated kitchen which is not true.

Like kitchen needs good Pots and pans, blender, etc, (if you cook) Master bed it was not comfortable for us, bed was old and soft. The last thing that I really think they need is a laundry room.

Very little info on 1889’s property

The unit was dusty, dishwasher was broken with dirty dishes in it, and mattresses were hard as a rock and warped, tile floors were sticky and area rugs were just gross. We called about the dishwasher when we checked in and it took more than 24 hours just to have our dishes returned to us (after calling again to say we did not get our dishes back) and no one ever came to repair the dishwasher. We were given a total of four towels for a six night stay for 3 people and when we requested more they asked why, were we not given enough? It was very hard to find out where to take our trash, what pools were available, how to get to the beach …we scoured the seascape website and were frequent callers to the “front desk”. The “owners” in the complex appear to resent the guests to the point that one woman told us to move to the other side of the pool bc she pays a lot of money to live there and was swimming laps. She yelled at another kid for splashing and that “owner mother” yelled back that they “owned too”. We have stayed in much nicer places in the area and will not return to this community.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very nice and clean. There were a couple of things that need attention though. The toilet in the master bath ran, it would turn off then come back on often. The blinds in the master bedroom did not close completely to cover the entire window. We put something over the opening to make it dark in the bedroom. We could not make the TV in the master bedroom work correctly. We could turn it on but we were unable to change the channel. One time we were not able to even turn it off, we had to unplug it to make it turn off. Otherwise everything else was fine. Thank you for allowing us to stay, we had a restful vacation!
