    Unique property

    A beautiful pool and patio area. Very pleasant to relax there. Heavy metal shutters roll up at the push of a button to remove all separation between the interior and exterior, so you are effectively outside when they are open. But still sheltered from any but very heavy rain. No screened windows of course. A few insects & gecko-types as expected, but almost no mosquitos when we were there, which was a sunny, dry week. Weather and the season will matter. Bedrooms have A/C for use at night. Two of the three beds had mosquito netting. The immediate neighbourhood is mostly residential, with many properties in the area having a high wall and gate facing a small road. You'll want a car. There is a small grocery store about a 5 minute drive away. The villa itself is a beautiful place overall. We enjoyed our stay. The owner was pleasant and easy to deal with.

    Hate to sound negative but...

    Let me just say that we have stayed in no less than 7 different homes on various islands in the Caribbean. Out of them all, this property had the biggest issues with heat. There was almost no breeze at all, and that really stinks when the outdoorsy nature of the house requires the air to keep the occupants cool when you're out in the common areas. Speaking of the heat, we got some nastygrams from the owner for running the AC units in a couple of the bedrooms longer than she thought we should. She sent me a text in French which I didn't receive since I had not turned on any kind of international support - when I finally did see it, it was all in French and I thought it was just a typical "hope you're having fun, etc." messages so I just kind of blew it off. The next one I translated and she said that all the AC units should be turned off if we were going to be gone lone, and that it only takes 15 minutes to cool a room off completely. Well I don't know what she was talking about because those units took forever to cool down rooms, and at least two of the rooms have a hard time keeping the temperature that's comfortable unless you want to be partially uncovered. We left the house for 45 minutes and she sent a message saying she was going to bill us extra money, which would have been fine except she's not allowed to do that - she's also not allowed to enter the home without prior announcement and she did that twice too so there you go. The house inside is nice, and it has a nice outdoor area as well. It's just hot, there are no good beaches anywhere close to this property, and all of the pretty parts of the island are alllllll the way on the other side. So based on everything I mentioned and the bad location, it's going to be a two for me and the family. There were also no plug converters for anything using the American standard. I didn't expect them to have the house wired and ready for us, but a couple of adapters would have been really great. I had to go to 5 different stores before I found one and it costs me almost 50 euro.

    Bonjour , Gabe Long Il faut savoir qu'aux Antilles , les villas sont grande ouverte sur l'extérieur, les climatiseurs sont essentiellement dans les chambres et bureaux, ils sont utilisé que lorsque que l'on est dans la pièces, il faut entre 10 et 20 minutes pour refroidir une chambre, je vous ai envoyé un message très courtois, après avoir constaté que la villa était grande ouvert avec tous les climatiseurs allumés et personnes dans la villa , lors de mon 2eme passage pour finalisé la réparation du portail, tous les blocs des climatiseurs étaient encore en marche!!! malgré qu'Emilie vous ai aussi laissé un message et en anglais .

    Superbe Villa et superbe accueil

    Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable tant grâce à l'exceptionnelle villa qu'à sa propriétaire. Bonne connaisseuse de l'ile, ses conseils sont précieux et elle est aussi sympathique que disponible. La maison est très bien située, au calme mais proche des commodités et sa localisation stratégique facilitera vos déplacements et vos visites. On compte bien y retourner !

    Super villa conforme à l'annonce et surtout aux photos. Une propio Joy adorable et toujours dispo. Un endroit central pour pouvoir atteindre tous les points de l'île. Bref 2 semaines parfaitement réussies et c est peu de le dire.

    Très belle maison, bien placé bien équipé, l’accueil est très agréable et la propriétaire elle l’éco

    Le seul des grands agrément que j’ai pu constater à cette maison, c’est le manque les fenêtres ce qui fait que le soir on peut pas juste fermer la fenêtre. On est obligé de fermer les volets si on peut pas avoir les moustiques si il y a des coupures d’électricité alors là à part ça tout était parfait

    Das Ferienhaus entspricht exakt den Bilder und unserer Erwartung. So viele Optionen zu sitzen und zu chillen. Der Pool ist so lang, dass einige Schwimmzüge möglich sind. Der am Abend beleuchtete Garten verlängert den Tag. Die Zimmer sind wie erwartet. In einem Bett liegen die Matrazen auf Brettern auf, mehr was für Menschen, die Futons mögen. Es gibt mehr Geschirr und Gläser als wir mit vier Personen je hätten nutzen können. Die Goldfische haben wir gerne gefüttert. Die Tischtennisplatte im Garten mehrfach genutzt. Ein kleiner Strand ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Die ersten größeren in guter Nähe per Auto. Es gibt einen sehr guten Bäcker die Straße hinunter und nach 5min Autofahrt den ersten E.Leclerc. Joy ist eine sympathische und zugewandte Gastgeberin. Hinweis; sie spricht Französisch, aber kein English. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

    Eine unvergessliche Luxuss-Villa

    We had the time of our lives! Die Villa ist wirklich ein Schmuckstück! Sie ist mit Auto gut erreichbar und die schöne Strände von Guadeloupe sind innerhalb von 20 Minuten Autofahrt erreichbar! Die Stadt Le Gosier ist auch nah am Flughafen, so dass man schnell nach dem langen Flug einchecken kann. Das Haus an sich ist sehr modern und mit Bedacht gestaltet, der offene Bereich lädt zum entspannen und genießen! Der Pool war für uns wirklich der Highlight! Der Empfang von Joy war herrvorragend und sie hat sich immer um unsere Anliegen/Fragen gekümmert! Danke Joy! Wir freuen uns die Villa wieder zu besuchen!

    Villa de rêve !

    Nous souhaitions ma femme et moi faire plaisir à nos 2 enfants après leur année scolaire et étudiante réussie pour passer des vacances à 4 méritées. Nous garderons un super souvenir de la Guadeloupe grâce en partie à cette villa coup de cœur de grand standing conforme à notre attente et à la description faite dans l’annonce ( je dirais même que nous trouvons la villa mieux que ce que les photos déjà alléchantes nous montraient). Grands espaces et luminosités, décorations de très bon gout, piscine superbe et fonctionnelle, tout y était, un vrai bonheur vécu par nous 4 ! Merci également à Joy la propriétaire pour son accueil, sa gentillesse et son écoute. Bref tout était parfait ! Merci pour ce séjour de rêve .
