About this property

Casa Cenote Hotel - Cenote & Ocean Front Queen Room

Welcome to our Ocean front Queen room, where rustic meets the soothing rhythm of the waves. Nestled right on the sandy shores, this room offers panoramic views of the turquoise sea, where the horizon melts seamlessly into the sky. Step onto your private deck and breathe in the briny air as you gaze out at the endless expanse of water stretching to the horizon.
Sink into the plush queen-sized bed adorned with soft, organic linens, and let the rhythmic sound of the waves serenade you to sleep. Wake up to the gentle glow of dawn peeking over the ocean, painting the sky in hues of pink and gold.
Whether you're seeking a quiet escape or an adventure by the sea, our rustic oceanfront queen room offers the perfect blend of coastal charm and tranquil relaxation for an unforgettable beachfront getaway.
Our property is sandwiched between the Ocean and the famous Cenote Manatee. The cenote forms an underground cave below the hotel and comes up in the ocean where there are schools of tropical fish! Enjoy our Casa Cenote Restaurant and have an ice-cold beer or margarita overlooking the ocean. A perfect way to get away from it all and enjoy the purity of Mexico
Rates include breakfast, kayak, snorkel, & paddle board rentals, a/c, included maid service, mini fridges, linens, towels and purified bottled water. A secluded pool is available in front of the room and the cenote is located across the street. Go kayaking, snorkeling, swimming or scuba diving in this freshwater oasis that goes 7km into the mangrove.

Hard to Find Laid Back accommodations
You can find fancy next door, multi- million dollar homes down the street, but what you find here is a laid back hotel run by great people! Diving, kayaking available! Cenote across the street. Gary and team go out of their way to make you feel at home. Great place to slow down, listen to the waves, leave all the craziness north of the border. Note: car suggested. Taxis available. (400 pesos each way to Tulum)

Quiet, could use some TLC
We were supposed to stay for 4 nights but left after 2. We arrived to find no other guests staying at the hotel. It’s 10 minutes on the highway from central Tulum but 30 minutes from south Tulum beaches. It felt deserted and empty compared to popular Tulum. The room was decent enough but smelled like mold as did the towels. You can’t access WiFi in your room, only in the restaurant and when we arrived home at 9 both nights, the restaurant was dark and closed. The place needs to be cleaned up and cared for- trees cut back and you can’t see out from the restaurant to the beach cause of the overhanging palapa. The place just felt a little weird. However, it is right on the beach and it is much less expensive than other places so you get what you pay for. If remote is your thing, go for it. It is not in central, lovely, decorated Tulum beach area. I’ve stayed in all sorts of places and this place isn’t bad- just not great. If your on a budget and want to be on the beach- go for it! We did get a small refund (one half of one night).
