Athena And The Owl
This townhouse is in the perfect location for people who want to be close to a beach, bus stops with good connections around Paphos, Kings Avenue Mall with a supermarket in it and various historical places around Paphos. There are many things to see and do in this place. Buses go to the harbour, Coral Bay and town centre. The townhouse is yours and please treat it like your own home with views of the sea and the sunsets!
The place is perfect for couples looking to be by the beach and to be close to places of interest and activities. You do not need a car but if you wish to travel further, then a car hire is a great idea! You can hire a scooter or a bicycle if you wish.
Working professionals who work remotely - this is a great place for you as there is a working computer desk with a computer chair to go with. Internet is fast and you can enjoy your Zoom meetings online in peace without any interruptions.
Families with up to 5 members can enjoy this gorgeous home knowing that everyone will be comfortable, sleep well and be close to the beach. There is internet for everyone, and a Smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime so that you can log in with your own details. You can ask me for a travel cot for your little one and I also offer a chair seat booster, and a baby bath if you would like to use them as well.
The beach is only 3 minutes walk away from the townhouse. It is 250 metres away. You will have your own towels for the bathroom only. You don't need to bring your own towels. The bed sheets are fresh and clean. I always have hot water as we have solar panels.
The open plan living room/dining area has a large L shaped sofa, a computer desk with a computer chair to go with, a butterfly table to eat at, an armchair, a TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime and a TV table.
The kitchen is fully fitted out with all the crockery/cutlery and so on to make your cooking a breeze. There is also a fridge/freezer and a washing machine.
There are two balconies. One from the sea view bedroom and one from the living room. You can sit on the balconies and enjoy the sea views and the sea breeze which is just amazing. You also eat at the balcony table and have your tea/coffee/wine there as well. The sunset is always visible from the balconies and are just amazing.
Air conditioning:
We have a brand new one in main bedroom number one. Also, another brand new one in the living room as well.
The other bedroom facing the sea has NO air conditioning unit. I will have it installed around October. There is a fantastic breeze if you leave the bedroom windows open and you can sleep with the windows open through the night. It is very safe. I can provide a free standing fan upon request.
In the living room, if you leave the windows open, there is an amazing sea breeze and air conditioning is never required. Please do try leaving the windows open and enjoy the breeze, before using the air con. Air con in the lounge is only required in August when humidity is 100%. If you use the air con, then I suggest closing the living room door (and the windows) to keep the cool air in. The same goes for the bedroom as well with its own air con.
When you book this place for your own holidays, I can guarantee that you will enjoy your stay here and have a great holiday too!

I'm a mum of 2 with a wonderful partner living in the UK. Before I met my partner, I was living in Cyprus since I was born. In 2012, I put my mum's apartment up for holiday rentals on various websites and then added on two more of her other properties. Then in 2017, I put up my own home on holiday rental websites and our business have been very successful! I care about my guests and I can understand how important it is to stay in a warm welcoming home in a foreign country. I travelled around the globe and I put my experience of travelling into the hosting business. To me, it is personal and to me, it is very important that my guests enjoy our homes and above all, enjoy travelling around Paphos and the whole island of Cyprus itself.
Also, I am severely deaf in both ears and wear hearing aids. Mobile phones are a wonderful invention as this means I can communicate brilliantly with my guests. Whatsapp is also a fabulous invention as we can share photos, videos and messages about the properties and resolve any issues that may arise! I can speak English and Greek and I'm also very fluent in British Sign Language (and Greek sign language too!).
I enjoy travelling around and exploring new places. I love places of nature, the sea and of course, theme parks and exciting places! You will find me happy in a cafe sipping on an iced frappe, enjoying my time alone and just watching the world go by. With 2 children, I don't have time to read a book or watch TV but I can happily help my guests feel comfortable in the holiday properties and ensure they arrive safely. In 2016, I graduated with a degree in photography after doing wedding photography since 2008.
Since 2020, my job as a healthy cook and cooking healthy meals to the deaf community in the UK took off and my career is still on the rise. I make lots of cooking videos and you can find them on Facebook on pages belonging to DeafPlus and The Royal Association for the Deaf. I've also been on television as well!

Why they chose this property
This is my own home and to me, it is personal and a proud achievement. With inheritance from my grandparents and my own personal savings, I was able to get a mortgage to buy this wonderful townhouse in a great location in 2009.
I cannot explain how good this location is. It is actually 250 metres from the Lighthouse Beach which you can find on the map. It is also called Faros Beach in Greek. The place is very close to the Kings Avenue Mall, which wasn't there when I bought the place. With the Mall close by, it is an added bonus. I'm close to The Old Town, and can easily go to the Harbour and easily drive to Coral Bay. Everything is close by!
I lived here for a while before I met my partner so I was slowly turning it into my home. I made the curtains which stand in the living room proudly and I put up framed souvenirs of my travels around the world. You'll find the seahorses on papyrus paper from Fiji or my Chinese scrolls with painting on them. Hanging proudly on the wall on 2nd floor is a painting of my mum which I love.
It took me a long time to get the property comfortable to live in as I had to save up. Now the place is great to stay in.
I am very proud to base this home after my daughter who is called Athena. Goddess Athena is where she got her name from and this Goddess always had the owl with her which is her messenger. Hence the name of this property, Athena And The Owl.
