The Loft is a beautiful professionally decorated property that is quiet and secluded yet conveniently located. This spacious retreat nestled in the Sam Houston National forest boasts an abundance of wildlife with plenty of room for parking your boat, exhibition, or horse trailers. This getaway sleeps 8 and includes extra media and game rooms complete with pool table and air hockey. Relaxing in nature with all the amenities that make getting away fun. Elevator, fireplace, garden tub, walk in/roll in shower, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, charcoal grill, upper and lower refrigerators, 2 coffee makers, 2 microwaves, 2 televisions, and WIFI complete this wheelchair ADA accessible property. 1 King, 1 Queen, and 2 bunk beds. Great property for families and couples less than 10 miles from the Galaxy Executive airport and the Lone Star Convention/ Expo center. Wonderful place for families!

This was the best place to stay! It is wheelchair-friendly and even has an elevator. There were so many activities available in the house like games, puzzles, etc. It is a beautiful house and has everything you could possibly need.

Excellent and accessible!

If you have someone in your family in a wheelchair, this is the place to stay. The owners have thought of everything! Our family has stayed here twice now and plan to do so again when we are visiting the area. There are plenty of games and activities for all ages. The surroundings are peaceful but close to town.

Love The Loft

Recently visited for a family reunion in the area. All I can say is that my family and I loved The Loft. It was quite and secluded, yet 2 miles from groceries and only 15 minutes (max) from shopping, restaurants, etc. Will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful private getaway

We were looking for a relaxing getaway for my husband, myself, and our 2 year old and we found just that! There were some nice walking trails through the trees, a picnic table right outside the door to easily enjoy an outdoor meal, and a nice porch swing. We thoroughly enjoyed or stay and will definitely consider it again in the future.

Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean and comfortable. On warning on arrival: mapping software does not show the driveway, so follow the owners' directions!

This listing was even more magical than the photos - amazing scenery, fantastic trails and creeks, exploration, games, movies, pool table, air hockey - something for everyone! Everyone loved this place and we were so glad we found it!

Short getaway

The Loft was wonderful, quite getaway for our family of 4. Had everything we needed. The only thing missing was the 7 ball on the pool table. Hope to get back there again.

It was magical!

This enchanted property in the middle of the woods is everything you could hope for a secluded vacation while still within easy reach of the lake, restaurants, shopping and just a skip to Houston. Fantastic 5 star communication. We plan to go back soon!

The best place yet

We stay at Vrbo’s and often for work and travel. This one was for our bdays, and was probably the best one yet. For some reason, I didn’t get any app communication from VRBO, so checking in required me to contact the owner, but my goodness- they were SUPER helpful!Not only is the place super cute, easy to use and really clean , the spices, extra touches, and adorable furnishings along with the pool table and air hockey and multiple gathering areas made it so wonderful, we stayed an extra day.The WiFi was spotty (probably because of weather) but the owner did their best to fix it. Kitchen was well outfitted and the table and chairs were perfect for our family. It was just wonderful and secluded and can’t wait to return.

Music festival girls trip

What a beautiful property.! A little off the beaten path but close enough to stores, etc to not feel isolated. No problems getting Ubers to pick us up. The barndominium was adorable. Plenty of common spaces to spread out and visit and the bedrooms and baths were all comfortable and well appointed. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved this nice little barn house in the woods. "The Loft" was very clean and seemed modern. The pool table, elevator, and air hockey table were super fun! The only complaintswere that we ran out of water the first night and had to figure out how to turn on the pump for the well. It was not apparent how to fix the problem, but our smarty pants son called the emergency service number and the lady talked him through turning it on. Also, by the end of our stay, seemed the a/c wasn't cooling well. It got a little warm... but we acclimated to 78 degrees in Houston, so we were ok until we left.

Beautiful Quiet Home

Stayed for the Rock Raccoon trail run. We had 5 ladies staying and the place was beautiful. There is a big home next door to the rental that I assume is the owners - so this is like a guest house. There was no one around and the place was super clean and nicely decorated. One king downstairs and the queen and bunks upstairs. Would definitely stay again!

Having a granddaughter with special needs the family decided to make the loft not only a great place for couples and families but a place that others with disabilities could enjoy.
