Cottage for couples with Private Spa and Restaurant

El Huerto del Abuelo is a rural house located 1 hour from Madrid capital, in the center the Natural Park of the Sierra Norte de Guadalajara in the region of Black Architecture.
Located in Almiruete, a small village of 80 houses, the location reminds us of Asturian landscapes. The house recovers the traditional mountain architecture and is divided into two heights, with stone walls, slate roof and wooden doors and windows
On the lower floor, El Huerto del Abuelo has a living room with a 24-hour minibar, library, the perfect place for a gathering with other guests or to read a book with all the tarnquiladad. On the same floor is the SPA room, for private use for couples where our chiromassageist performs 5 types of circuits with thematic massages and only with the company of your partner.
The house is complemented by a small and cozy dining room with 7 tables and a very personal and personal decoration, with 18 dishes of homemade food made with the products of the same garden of the house and with meat from local farmers. The in-house restaurant offers breakfast and dinner service every day of the week and lunch service on Fridays, Saturdays and national holidays.

From the house you can make hiking trips, rent bicycles or horses, or paddle with a canoe.

Terrace with views where breakfast is served in spring-summer, garden, orchard and private parking without other facilities offered by El Huerto del Abuelo, which is definitely an ideal place for couples and romantic getaways.


ROOMS:

The house has 7 double rooms, 6 of them with a double bed of 1.35cm / 1.50cm and 1 room with two beds of 90 joined. 4 of these rooms are attic and all of them have their own bathroom. The rooms are fully equipped for your comfort and convenience as they have central heating, centralized hot water, climalix window, latex mattress, 32 ”lcd tv, access ecological welcome products and free Wi-Fi. All rooms are on the upper floor, which allows all to have stunning views, only mountains and vegetation.


SPA:

El Huerto del Abuelo offers a spa room for couples, 25m2 equipped with a 2 * 2 hydromassage pool with waterfall, Finnish sauna, Scottish shower and thermal sun lounger.
The use of this room is privately for couples and our themed massages are held there.

El Huerto del abuelo is an ideal place for wedding gifts, a wedding getaway to relax from the wedding or for a special day for the couple.

What to visit:

In Huerto del Abuelo it is located in a strategic place to know the 2 valleys of the Black Architecture, just 15km from Campillo de Ranas and 20km from Valverde de los Arroyos.
It also allows you easy access to the Hayedo de Tejerena Negra at only 50km (45m by car).
Our location allows you to visit the Wells of the Aljive, El Pico de Ocejón, El Sabinar de Tamajón or the Chorreras de Despeñaelagua, all within walking distance.
We are also very close to the Swamp of the Vado and the Bonabal Monastery.

Pueblos Cogolludo, Atienza and Siguenza are also a must see.
