We offer a nautically themed self-catering accommodation on the second floor featuring a balcony with a view on the river “Oude Rijn”, a seating / kitchen area with a flat-screen TV, a separate double bed room and a private bath room.

Housed in a building from the 1930s, the guesthouse is located ideal for people who want to explore all that Leiden has to offer.

Cute place on the canal!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Riverside and the host was very helpful. Will be returning in the future.

Not as expected

Flat was not clean and it smells (cigarett smoke and cats). Kitchen equipement was not complete (missing cooking utilities). Windows louvres were broken. The pictures in the offer look better than it was in real.

Location, location location

This is a great property overlooking a canal. It was wonderful to sit on the deck and watch a parade of boats pass by. There are restaurants nearby. Our hostess was wonderful and greeted us with complementary wine. Read the other reviews regarding some perceived problems. We found everything in order and enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Leiden en quelques jours

Leiden est une très jolie "Petite Amsterdam" où nous avons passé de très belles journées sous un soleil printanier. L'hébergement est bien situé, calme, en bordure de canal. Je soulignerai qu'il faut être fumeur, aimant la fumée des autres. Il est possible de fumer dans l'appartement ce qui peut être un plus pour certains. Toutefois, n'étant pas fumeur, l'odeur de cigarettes permanente des autres habitants de la maison est vraiment problématique et gênant. Si vous y êtes sensible, je vous déconseille fortement ce lieu. Sinon, vous y serez très bien.
