A beautiful, four bedroomed, 3 bathroomed, family, south facing stone farmhouse with exceptionally roomy, airy and well equipped accommodation to a high standard. Open plan GF with a BAR, pool table, bar billards, darts, 3 Fridges and ICE, definitely a PARTY house! It has wonderful peaceful views of the garden, patios and pool, all south facing with telescopic cover providing safety as well as heating the pool. As we say 'Another day in paradise'. *The property has 0.5m thick walls which would keep it very cool during summer time ,Plus each bedroom comes with a fan over the main bed and several free standing fans. we also have excellent fly screens to all bedroom windows and the front doors

We are a retired couple nearly 80 years old who love travelling especially in France. When we have guests we take off in our motor home to explore the wonders of France. and mix with the French people. We used to do BnB in the UK and decided it would be fun to share our lovely accomodation in France. We were the Premier Anglais in the Village and lovingly converted the local PIG STYE into Another Day in Pareadise. you will see picture of this hanging on the wall.

Why they chose this property

We have stayed here in our holiday home every year for over 30 years, cherishing every moment and just wanted others to be able to enjoy the peaceful ambience and wild life that visit the grounds daily. The garden has developed richly over the years in an extreemly colourful way enticing all the butterflies, insects and other small creatures. I love my flowers and herbs and I know you will to. The nearby villages have wonderful market days, lots of history and beautiful buildings. The Charante river has many mills, wiers, and restaurants as well as river activities and bathing areas with sand and slides etc. Not far away you can see the monkey valley and the medeival town with Giant displays of flying birds. Having said all that most of our guests are so enthralled with the house, facilities and grounds they do not feel the need to venture far. All information is in a draw in the kitchen should youwant to explore.

What makes this property unique

The total seclusion and privacy of the very large house, pool, and garden.are a treasure There are foot paths fom the garden into our woods and the wild garden , we have not put fences up thus enabling the wild life to come and go freely. You will see deer, hares, rabbits, hedgehogs, sometimes a wild boar they only go down by the bottom of the wild garden . BUT you will see them through the telescope and binoculars that we leave for your enjoyment. the butterflies and birds are a real treat to observe . Go on get back to nature it really is breathtaking and relaxing and rewarding . In the evening youll enjoy your wine and meal on the terrace and then recline on the outdoor lounging furniture observing the night sky and satelites The sky is not poluted by lights so with the telescope as well you will see the planets moving Yes quite quickly! Its easy to have very late nights!!! Have a Wonderful stay xx
