4 bedroom det villa. Property can be rented as two x 2 bedroom self contained properties from 375 pounds per week Separate kitchen with all utilities, living area including Satellite TV and bathroom. Villa Mazarron is set in a beautiful mature semi landscape garden with large private pool and private parking. Calahonda is 10 minutes from the centre of Marbella and 10 minutes by car from Malaga airport. The villa is fully air-conditioned in most rooms(hot and cold to suit time of year).note this villa is not up the hill 3 minutes walk to shops restaurants & bars no need for car free wifi included

property in need of an update

Overall location is excellent but property itself was let down by outdated furnishings and uncomfortable beds. We had a great holiday down to the location of the villa and the pool was fantastic but if money was spent on an update people would be queuing up for this property.

Lovely Villa

Have stayed a number of times with my mother and sisters at this beautiful villa . We find the accomodation excellent and it has all the comforts of home plus the weather . Calahonda is within walking distance so no difficulty for shopping or restauants . The accomodation is spacious and is always clean and well maintained . We have already booked to return again

This villa definitely needs a major refurbishment.

We stayed in this villa for almost 2 weeks in April 2016. This villa was a great disappointment for us. We were shocked to discover that contrary to the previous review it was very filthy and stinky instead of being spotlessly clean. The cupboards were dirty and smelly, the kitchen was disgusting with a stinky dish washer difficult to start. Most metal elements in all bathrooms were rusty and covered with a lime scale. The bathroom downstairs was so disgusting that even after thorough clean was not acceptable to use and the family living there was regularly visiting bathrooms upstairs. The beddings looked far from fresh and smelled as being used before. A sunshade above the terrace was broken, audio/video equipment was very old remote controls were exceptionally dirty. Everything looked very worn-out and tired. This villa definitely needs a major refurbishment to be called a perfect location for a holiday. It is hard to believe the owner still rents it having such a strong competition in Costa del sol. We spent a lot of money on cleaning stuff and we had to clean the villa thoroughly to make it inhabitable. We also bought a numerous fragrance candles and other stuff to kill a smell. The fact is that we were considering moving to a different location as the smell was so strong (especially in the lower flat). A few additional issues of note. The wi-fi is very slow and it does not work in downstairs flat. You can forget about watching You Tube video or streaming. The house heating dose not work and there is no way to turn it on. Hot water occasionally runs out (without any warning or understandable pattern to it). Extractor in the lower kitchen does not work which makes things difficult as there is no window. There is not a welcome pack of any sort with any type of instructions. We had not idea where to dump rubbish bags so we piled them next to the main gate. In summary we would not recommend renting this villa to anyone.
