Chalet Bergfrieden 6 Penthouse is located a 6 - 8 minute (550m) walk uphill from the village centre, and an 8 - 10 minute (700m) walk uphill from Wengen train station. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station, and there is a lift in the chalet for easy access to the apartment.



Located on the north side of the village, there are a variety of hiking trails a short distance from the chalet which will lead you to a wonderland of nature and stunning Alpine scenery.



This penthouse apartment is newly built to a high standard with a luxury feel and quality furnishings. The apartment occupies the whole top floor of this chalet and is a great space for entertaining and relaxing in its modern open-plan living, dining and kitchen area.



Enjoy dining "al fresco" on the balcony or simply relax and take in the wonderful views over Wengen village towards the surrounding mountains. There are balconies on 3 sides of this apartment from which to enjoy the views from different aspects.



The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering, including both filter and Nespresso coffee machines, and the dining area is spacious enough for a large group of family or friends. And if you feel like eating out, the nearest restaurants are just a 4 - 5 minute (350m) walk away.



The apartment has its own washing machine and dryer in the chalet laundry room on the ground floor and an indoor ski storage locker in the chalet for the private use of guests.

What you should know...



Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if you require assistance to your chalet.
