We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO cabin! It was incredibly cozy and comfortable—exactly what we were hoping for in a peaceful getaway. The beds were especially comfortable, which made it easy to fully relax and unwind. The setting is truly beautiful—very remote and secluded, yet still just 10–15 minutes from anything you might need, which was the perfect balance. The views were absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise. That alone made the trip worth it.The lake isn’t the easiest to access due to the current road conditions, but we were told the county is planning improvements soon. We decided to hike down, and while it was definitely a vigorous trek, we actually enjoyed the adventure!Overall, this cabin is a great choice if you’re looking for a quiet escape with gorgeous scenery and a comfortable place to land at the end of the day. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. We’d absolutely stay again!
We loved everything about this little gem, especially the outstanding view. The hosts were terrific, cabin was clean with all the amenities we needed, and the screened-in back porch was a nice place to relax and enjoy the view. Well priced with quick access to local activities. Nothing bad to say about our visit. Hope to go again when time allows.
Cabin had everything we needed. Amazing views from the screened porch. Stocked kitchen for cooking. Convenient location to our boat rental. This will be our new place to stay for our annual lake trip.
We stayed for 4 nights last week. The property is beautiful and the boat dock was great. Jenni and Jared are wonderful hosts. They made us feel right at home. The bed was very comfortable. We loved being out on the screened porch. We would definitely stay here again.
Clean comfortable cabin built for sleeping ( 2 queen beds in the living room). The resort was quiet and the host family is very helpful. Beautiful view from the screened-in porch and a short trip to all the stores and restaurants in Mountain Home. If you have a boat you will have to get a slip at a local marina (I recommend Fout Boat Dock).

Thank you, David! We appreciate you staying with us! I'd love to see your wife's completed quilt :)
This was a quaint community of getaway cabins situated around a common leisure area with a view of the lake. The grounds were well kept and amenities such as the firepit, pavilion, and hammocks were inviting and well-maintained. Guests frequently came in contact with each other but all were friendly. The accommodations, while very basic, met the needs of our family and we were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and do plan to return.
Easily located property. Very quiet. Nice view of the lake and hammocks to enjoy it with. Very clean. Mine had a large enclosed porch to enjoy the view as it got cooler. Owners were readily available when I had any questions. Nice relaxing stay!
Thank you for reviewing us, Victor! Hope all had a great time!

A bit Disappointed.
It's great if all you need is a place to sleep. The furniture was uncomfortable, pillows very hard, kitchen utensils could be better, and the septic system outside the back porch left an undesirable aroma in the air.

I apologize that you were not satisfied. All beds in this cabin have been replaced and the porch re-screened as of 2024. The septic has a new lid - sometimes changes in the air pressure with weather changes can cause that, which is somewhat out of our hands. Also, I typically do not have time to replace misplaced or broken kitchen items until after peak season. I see you came in August, at the end of a whole season of wear and tear! We would like for the opportunity to have you back to experience our improvements!
Didnt get to meet the ppl running this place but i know we will go back to this place. It was clean and a nice get away. Only problem was tv kept shutting off bout every 10 mins
This resort has a Great Lakeview with clean cabin's and Great people for host's. It is also a nice location on the lake. The only bad thing was they don't have boat access or boat docks but there are 2 Marina's not far away.
We had a nice couple of days at the resort! The hosts were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed being able to bring our dog with us - definitely pet friendly! The playground and outdoor game selections kept us busy for hours...thanks again!
The property was very clean, the view was beautiful and the property managers were very easy to communicate with.

What makes this property unique
This resort in particular has a lengthy history - a photo hangs in the office of the main building from 1955, when there were merely ferries to take travelers across the lake in to Mountain HOme, AR. Now, there are (2) bridges, which has changed the vacation experience, but not integrity of our quaint resort. The cabins have been renovated, but there is a lot of nostalgia on property still. Our place is conveniently located but offers a lot of privacy, peace, and serenity, with enough to do to keep the kids entertained and plenty of space for outdoor play.
