About this property

Holiday house on quiet and peaceful island in Tjust inner archipelago, Västervik, overlooking meadows and bay. Proximity to jetty and own rowing boat, about 100 m.

The house is 50 m2 consisting of living room, kitchen and a double bedroom and a bedroom with 2 single beds. Suitable for 4 persons. Bathroom with mulltoa and shower. A large terrace runs around the house on 3 sides equipped with tables, chairs and barbecue. Natural plot around 1200 m2.

The house is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, fridge and freezer. Washing machine is available in nearby houses.

The house is adjacent to property 10564194.

The car is safely parked in a car park on the mainland, where you are picked up by the host couple for transport out to the island, about 8 minutes drive.

To the mainland you take your own boat or be taken care of by the host couple.

On the island there are some smaller sandy beaches, but you can also swim from the cliffs. If you want to go a little further, take the boat to one of the other islands, which also belong to the property, and its small sandy beaches.

Gärdsholmen also includes 5 smaller islands, a total of 36 hectares. Nowadays, only 2 people live here all year round. The island has ancient origins, which shows a finding of a settlement from the Stone Age.

Astrid Lindgren's world 60 km. Moose park 60 km. Västervik 52 km.

Final cleaning can be ordered for 1000 SEK. Bed linen (80 SEK) and towels (40 SEK) are available for rent. Engine (9.9hp) for rowing boat can be rented for 1300 SEK / week plus gasoline. Canoes can be rented for 200 SEK / day.

Erholung pur in wunderschöner Umgebung

Das Ferienhaus war genauso, wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Stille, die gute Luft, die wundervolle Aussicht von der Terrasse und natürlich das Schwimmen sehr genossen. Unsere Vermieter haben uns freundlich aufgenommen und bei allen Fragen sehr nett geholfen und Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben. Wir würden auf jeden Fall sehr gern wiederkommen.

Very relaxed

It's a beautiful place to be. The nature on the island is spectacular and the cabin is very cozy. The communication with Peter and Ann was relaxed. They are both very helpful and flexible. We had a great time.

Kurzer aber traumhafter Aufenthalt

Am Ende unserer kleinen Rundreise durch Südschweden durften wir 2 Nächte auf der wundervollen Insel übernachten. Leider war unser Aufenthalt für dieses schöne Fleckchen Erde viel zu kurz. Die Gastgeber sind sympathisch und sehr freundlich.

Erholung in der Natur

Wir hatten mit unseren Kindern eine wunderbare Zeit auf der kleinen Insel. Die Überfahrt mit dem Motorboot war total unkompliziert und ein großer Spaß für die Kinder. Die Gastgeber Ann und Peter sind ausgesprochen gastfreundlich und haben uns eine sehr schöne Zeit ermöglicht. Wir sind Ihnen super dankbar dafür.
