Transport to Ballina holiday homes

Ballina is remarkably easy to get to, so you’ll have no problem arriving at local holiday homes. There’s a major airport in town that serves the entire Byron Bay and Lismore areas, but international travellers will have to fly into one of the larger cities such as Melbourne, Sydney or Newcastle first. The relatively new Ballina Bypass motorway makes it easy to drive here from nearby communities, while there are also two bus lines that service the area and offer connections to neighbouring major cities. The train can only get as far as the Casino railway station, but the price of your ticket covers the additional transportation costs to get to Ballina. Once in town there are taxis and local bus services available, and the city is notably walkable as well.
