Il Mulino a Vento is one of the five apartments of our facility Case Vacanze Borgo Faraldi. Surrounded by the characteristic and surprising panorama of the Ligurian hinterland, our facility is located in the historic village of Deglio Faraldi, at 7.5 kilometers from the beaches of San Bartolomeo al Mare.

Il Mulino a Vento has a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds, a kitchen with living room and a bathroom with shower. The large terrace, with umbrella, barbecue, chairs, table and deckchairs allows for outdoor meals with a lovely view on the sea, the village and the centuries-old olive groves of the valley. Furnishings and services are of the latest generation.

Il Mulino a Vento and all the apartments of our facility have obtained the Three Suns Certification, which is the highest qualification for all the structures belonging to the 'Holiday Homes and Apartments' accommodation category.

We carry out sanitization with the OZONPLUS ozonation system using ozone generators. The action of these devices eliminates bacteria, germs and pathogens up to 98.98%.

The Restaurant Ai Torki, located at 200 meters from our apartments, is certainly one of the best restaurants in the area to savor the typical Ligurian cuisine.

As tradition, we host our travelers with the Welcome Basket, a little gift based on typical products to make the holiday experience in our reality even more authentic!

There are no additional costs or fees.

Beautyful holidays !!!

We spend a wounderfull week in the Cottage at Borgo Faraldi. The rooms are exactlly how they are on the website and the vilage is small and lovely. Very quite and the people are friendliy. Fabio ist a nice guy and renter, we are happy that we can ask everything. He make us a attractive present at the start of our stay. We have been there as a family with 3 Children. We also love to buy in a Shop of Borgo Faraldi whos name is Mariaangelo. She was very friendly and the Shop has all, what you need. The only thing what is not perfekt, is the carillon of the Church, so thät the night ends at 7:00 in the morning, but it is also a charming note of this village.

Wonderful!!!

We enjoyed a great holiday in one of Fabio's apartements in the littel village of Deglio Faraldi. The apartment has been refurbished with everything you need to spend relaxing and comfartabel holidays. The village is so charming and the surounding landscape with the view of the ocean is breathtaking. If one likes nature, the charm of an authentic Italian village and doesn't mind traveling along narrow streets to be on top of it all should go for it! In only 7 km you are by the sea. Diano marina is a very nice littel twon by the sea with a charming shopping area and nice littel restaurants.And there are many other very nice places not far away that are woth visiting: old villages like Cervo with its beautiflu littel market, Imperia with its old twon and harbour, the 24 km bike trail from St Lorenz via San Remo and past.... We are sure to come back soon! Thanks to Fabio who is a very friendly and efficient host! Gracie mille!

Spacious , well equipped and good located apartment - as described

We, family consisting of 4 persons from Denmark with teenage children, had very good holiday. The apartment was well equipped (including kitchenware) and comfortable with a good view from the terrace. Wi-fi worked well everywhere in the apartment. TV with many channels. Possibility to wash and dry clothes. Good parking facilities. Church bells were not a problem for us. However, we slept with the windows closed and sometimes heard the bells also at night. During the day it was very charming. The host was very friendly. Thanks for the stay, Fabio! We will recommend it to others. We were often at the beach. Nearest Beach was in San Bartolomeo (9 km), which was pebble beach. In the nearby town Andora we could enjoy the sandy beach. Both places you could find free parking and beach. Deglio Faraldi is very nice small mountain village, but remember to visit Villa Faraldi, too.

Dejlig lejlighed med alt nødvendigt inventar - dejlig beliggenhed og fin velkomst og information. Bør nævnes før ankomst at der ikke er nogen indkøbsmuligheder i landsbyen. I Barttolomeo al mare er der supermarked - velassorteret - 7 km fra lejligheden ad smal bjergvej. Dejlig restaurant -Al Torky- i Deglio. Husk at bestille bord når I ankommer. Enormt mange mennesker - glade italienere -i august. Lækker mad - perfekt betjening -rimelige priser. Feriestedet kan varmt anbefales til de som vil have udsigt - ro- autencitet - og kirkeklokkeslag hver halve Time døgnet rundt. Vi vænnede os hurtigt til det og fandt det charmerende.

The restaurant Ai Torki, a popular Trattoria located at only 200 meters from our apartments, it's a very good opportunity to tast ligurian and typical foods. In the high season, lot of tourists choose this restaurant; besides a large number of hinabitants of our territory enjoy this place. We recommend to take a reservation, expecially in the weekend in the high season. San Bartolomeo al Mare offers all the ordinary services: supermarkets, beaches, shops, pharmacies, touristic information office, gasoil stations, bar pubs and restaurants. Deglio Faraldi is racommended for the guests that like the sea and beaches entertainments but also the quiteness of a typical and countryside village as ours. Wir waren hier Anfang April bei typischem Aprilwetter: "von allem etwas". Gut dass wir warme Kleidung eingepackt hatten. Die Wohnung war perfekt wie beschrieben. Zum ersten Mal stand uns sogar ein TV zur Verfügung, das super funktionierte und alle deutschen Programme hatte! Danke Fabio, das war wirklich toll. Leider konnten wir die wunderbare Terrasse wetterbedingt nur wenig in Anspruch nehmen, aber die Aussicht war trotzdem gegeben und immer phantastisch. Die Lage im Hinterland in einem kleinen Bergdorf und um uns rum unzählige Olivenbäumen war genau das, was wir gesucht hatten, um lange Spaziergänge mit unseren zwei Hunden zu machen. Hierbei konnten wir vorwiegend auf der normalen Fahrstrasse gehen, weil hier kaum Autos unterwegs waren. In 20 Minuten war man aber auch mit dem Auto am Meer. Und selbst diese Fahrt durch die Landschaft mit Olivenbäumen war traumhaft. Die ganze Organisation der Vermietung und der Kontakt zum Vermieter Fabio war sehr gut geregelt. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Sehr idyllisch wenn man es mag

Wir haben die Wohnung kurzfristig für 5 Tage angemietet. Die Wohnung selbst ist schön, sauber und sehr ansprechend. Wer die absolute Ruhe sucht ist dort sehr gut aufgehoben. Sie ist über eine der typischen italienischen Bergstraßen zu erreichen. Das ist in der Tat etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig und man muss es mögen. Im Dunkeln haben wir vermieden diese Straße zu fahren. Was uns zu dieser Jahreszeit leider dazu zwang schon früh am Abend heimzufahren. Es ist ein Lokal in der Nähe welches wir nicht besucht haben und daher auch nichts dazu sagen können. Der Vermieter ist ein sehr netter und angenehmer Mensch. Eine kleine ligurische Spezialität lag als Gastgeschenk bereit. Christine und Wolfgang im September 2017

Deglio Faraldi is a village located at 7,5 Km from the coast, at 300 meters of haltitude. Our hinterland streets are surrounded by olive groves and they were built inside the countryside and the one thousand years old terracing. The typicality of our territory is one of the most interesting particularity of our geographie, our history and our traditions. Due to these historical and geographical characteristics our hinterland streets could be a bit narrow in some parts. In any cases, we remind you that it's possible to reach Deglio Faraldi from two streets, and the path that reach Deglio on the highest side of the village is a bit larger. If you want to come back in the future, you'll be welcome in our little Ligurian corner! Best regards, Fabio

Gut ausgestattete FeWo mit einzigartigem Ausblick und sehr freundlichem Vermieter

Wir hatten mit Baby (10 Monate) einen tollen einwöchigen Aufenthalt. Die FeWo ist sehr gut ausgestattet und durch Kinderstuhl und -bett auch für Familien mit Babys und Kleinkindern sehr gut geeignet. Die Lage am oberen Ende des Tals ist wunderschön ruhig und auf dem Balkon mit tollem Ausblick kann man jedes Frühstück sehr gut genießen. Fabio ist ein sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Vermieter, der jederzeit erreichbar ist und die Wohnung mit viel Liebe zum Detail, von der Fahrradvermietung bis zum Geschenkkorb, vermietet. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Our Home for a week!

Our stay in Fabios Apartement was one of it's kind. The flat is really nice and clean, everything you need is right at it's place. It keeps the freshnes of the night even when the sun is burning hot. The W-Lan is fast and reachable from everywhere. Having breakfast outside on the very large terrasse is just breathtaking. The view over green Olive-Trees through the valey to the Mediterranian in the background, we've really seen nothing like that before. Together with the falcon, that lives right next to the apt. in the tiny church, making it's circles in the air...it felt like paradise. There's a lot to be discovered, even in the very close surroundings. We took really interesting hikes to the surrounding mountains. And coming back to the village, we never met a citizen, that didn't say hi or bongiorno :) all of the citizens, and there are only 40 of them in that small nice place, are very kind and supportive. If you want to have dinner somewhere near, go to Ai Torki, a restaurant only 200m away. It offers very tasty seafood with very kind and supportive service. But don't take the seats outside, even if it's hot. Go inside and take a seat close to the window, otherwise you'll miss a view you'll never forget in your entire life! Fabio was kind enough to reserve a seat for us and you should ask him do do the same. It's needed, cause this place seems to be known for tastyness and gorgous views by others too :) Speaking about Fabio, we really couldn't ask for more. He's so supportive and kind, always had an open ear and a tip or two what we could do that day. And still, he stayed in the background but was there, when we needed him. The week we had, we won't forget. We were searching for an apartement but found a home for a week. We'll certainly come back! Thank You and Deglio Faraldi ! :)

Deglio im Zweijahresrhythmus

Auch beim zweiten Aufenthalt in Deglio im App. Il Mulina hat alles gepasst und wir hatten einen perfekten Urlaub. Hoch über den Dächern dieses kleinen Bergdorfes findet man die ideale Kombi von entspannender Erholung und dem Sommertreiben der ligurischen Riviera. Zur Ausstattung der Whg. ist bereits alles gesagt. Zu empfehlen die typisch ligurischen Restaurants La Campagnola in Tovo (Via Piave, 8, Villa Faraldi IM), das etwas entfernte, aber unbedingt lohnende Lavinella in Lavina (Via Scuola, 2, 18026 Rezzo IM) und direkt vor Ort das Ai Torki, ein Muss für Fischliebhaber. Ansonsten frischen Fisch im Hafen von Imperia gekauft und auf den Grill gelegt. Ein schöner Abend auf der traumhaften Terrasse des App. ist gesichert. der Gastronom Klaus in Diano Marina hat uns empfohlen Öl und Oliven direkt in Diano Saint Pietro bei LÀntico Frantoio Saguato (http://www.blumenriviera.de/olivenoel-ligurien/olivenmuehlen/#Diano_San_Pietro), einer traditionellen Olivenmühle zu kaufen. Nice clean and well equipped Appartement

Borgo Faraldi is a really nice and quiet place to stay. Appartement was really good, nothing missing, everything good. Normally i should cut off two stars for the bell tower ringing permanently day and night, but the easy and perfect Handling of Fabio, who is taking care about everything prevented me from doing it. So if you don't mind about bells you have a Perfect Place to stay 👍

Very nice

A clean and spacious house in a very quiet village. The owner is very friendly and gave some usefull tips about the environment and where to rent bicycles if we wanted to. For the beach we prefered to go toAlassio and Laigueglia. There are two roads that lead to Deglio, if you think the shorter one via Riva direct to Deglio is too small/narrow then you can take the longer road, Riva, Villa and then Deglio. The local restaurant, ai Torchi, is worth a visit, try at least menu 2 :)

Прекрасное место Деглио !!! Превосходная природа и маленькая деревушка в которой есть очень хороший ресторан, итальянцы со всей окрестности приезжают именно туда , чтобы вкусно покушать. Аппартаменты находятся в горах около 10 минут езды на машине от города Сан Бартоломео. В Диано Марина, это совсем рядом можно хорошо провести время ( шоппинг, пляж , рестораны, отдых). Квартира очень просторная , имеется все необходимое. Хозяева настолько приветливы, что дарят даже подарки( оливки и оливковое масло собственного производства). Наши аппартаменты имели огромную террасу с шикарным видом на море . Имеется так же гриль / барбекю . Огромное спасибо Фабио за приветливость и отзывчивость. Мы обязательно приедем еще раз!!!!

Sehr schön gelegene Wohnung mitten im Dorf

Gut ausgestattete und ruhig gelegene Ferienwohnung mit Blick in die Oliven, direkt neben der Dorfkirche, die uns mit ihrem Glockengeläut erfreut hat. Eine sehr schöne Terrasse mit Grillmöglichkeit. Hier kann man die Seele baumeln lassen. Der Vermieter ist sehr feundlich und sehr um das Wohl seiner Gäste bemüht. Super auch das ristorante ai torki in etwa 100m Entfernung. Kleine Einschränkung: beim Duschen wird es sehr nass im Bad. Alles in allem aber ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Wir kommen wieder!

Meerblick inklusive

Wir waren mit unseren beiden Kindern, 1 und 4 für 2 Wochen in der Wohnung Mulino il Vento. Nett eingerichtet und alles in sehr gutem Zustand. Es ist alles da was man braucht und erwarten kann. Eine Terrasse mit herrlichem Meerblick und möbiliert. und mit einem Holzkohlegrill versehen. Da das Wetter nicht so stabil war, waren wir doch ab und an auf die Wohnung angewiesen. Hier hätten wir uns im Wohnbereich noch einen Sessel mehr gewünscht. Er besteht eben nur aus Esstisch und Bettsofa. Aber das wussten wir vorher. Was uns gestört hat: Der wunderschöne Glockenturm direkt nebenan, der 24 Stunden am Tag die Uhrzeit zur vollen Stunde bekundet. Und das gleich zweimal hintereinander.... Und um sieben wird man mit einem zünftigen Glockenspiel geweckt... Deglio Faraldi, dass am höchsten gelegene der drei Dörfer hat 40 Einwohner und leigt herrlich eingebettet zwischen Olivenbäumen in den Bergen. Trotzdem ist man in 10 Minuten am Meer und geniesst in den super gepflegten Bagnis, sehr zu empfehlen das Bagni BB Sport in Diano Marina, einen herrlichen Familienurlaub. Herzlichen Dank für 2 herrliche Wochen in Ligurien.

The sound of bells is an historical tradition, typical of our villages in the Province of Imperia. This 'music' was very important, expecially in the past. When clocks did not exist, farmers listened the bells sounds. For example, 12 bell's tolls meant 'lunch and relax time'! This was the 'Country Life in Liguria'! Il Mulino a Vento have a large sofa bed for two people. In the living room, there are no further armchairs because people generally prefere to have many space in the hall. This is important especially when the large sofa bed is open. Thank you besides for your comments about the village: Deglio Faraldi is the perfect place for all the families that love a quiet village located on the hills at few minutes to the beaches. lekkere vakantie in een prachtige omgeving...

Wij hadden een heerlijke vakantie in Deglio in het Appartement van Fabio. Enig nadeel is dat het hoger ligt in de bergen. Je moet dus aardig kunnen autorijden om het te bereiken. Maar wat je dan krijgt is meer dan de moeite waard, Super Fabio. Ga zo door! Liefs uit Holland :-)

Erholsamer Urlaub in Deglio Faraldi

Wir haben uns in diesem Jahr das erste Mal für eine Reise nach Ligurien entschieden und konnten in Deglio Faraldi zwei sehr schöne Wochen verbringen. Deglio Faraldi ist ein kleines Dorf umgeben von Olivenhainen. Inmitten der Natur kann man sich gut erholen und die Ruhe genießen. Lediglich an die Glockenschläge der Kirche muss man sich erst einmal gewöhnen, was aber nach ein paar Tagen kein Problem mehr darstellt. Die Kirche an sich ist ein interessantes und altes Bauwerk. Leider konnten wir sie nicht besichtigen. Wir haben uns in Deglio Faraldi sehr wohl gefühlt und die Einwohner dieses Dorfes und der Region sind sehr nett. Die Wohnung "Il Mulino a Vento" ist optimal ausgestattet (wie in der Beschreibung angegeben/ auf den Fotos zu sehen) und verfügt über eine traumhafte Terrasse mit herrlichem Ausblick. Wenn man sich selbst verpflegt, findet man in der Küche alles, was man braucht. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, gepflegt und es gibt eine gute WLAN-Verbindung. Der Vermieter, Fabio, ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Falls man typisch ligurische Produkte wie die köstlichen Taggiasca-Oliven kaufen möchte, kann man diese über Fabio bestellen. Bei unserer Ankunft stand ein Begrüßungs-Körbchen mit einer Auswahl an ligurischen Leckereien als Geschenk für uns bereit. Wir haben direkt am ersten Abend die Oliven, das leckere Pesto und die Pasta auf der Terrasse verspeist. Um zum Strand oder einem Supermarkt (z. B. Crai in San Bartolomeo/ Punto in Cervo [guter Parkplatz]) zu gelangen, fährt man ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto zur Küste. Sehenswert ist insbesondere Villa Faraldi (vor allem die Kirche) und Cervo. Da wir zwei Wochen lang perfektes Sommerwetter hatten, haben wir keine größeren Touren (z. B. nach Monaco) unternommen. Im Frühjahr oder Herbst kann man von Deglio Faraldi aber sicherlich viele schöne Ausflüge entlang der Küste machen und auch Wanderungen unternehmen. Im Sommer gibt es sowohl in Cervo als auch in San Bartolomeo und Diano Marina (weniger überlaufen) die Möglichkeit, einen Strandtag zu verbringen. Alles in allem haben wir in Deglio Faraldi zwei sehr erholsame Urlaubswochen verbracht und können diese Ferienwohnung auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Ligurien ist eine schöne Urlaubsregion mit leckeren Spezialitäten (z. B. Focaccia, diese kann man u. a. beim Bäcker in San Bartolomeo kaufen), tollen Ausflugszielen und viel Natur. Komfortable Wohnung mit traumhafter Aussicht

Die Wohnung "Il Mulino a Vento" hat uns sehr gut gefallen, sie ist sehr komfortabel und praktisch eingerichtet und es ist alles da was man benötigt. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse aus zum Meer ist einfach umwerfend! Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und macht alles, um den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Deglio Faraldi ist ein hübsches, keines Dorf 7 km landeinwarts. Es hat ein ausgezeichnetes Restaurant ganz in der Nahe, etwas weiter talwarts ist der kleine Laden von der sehr freundlichen Mariaangela, wo man das meiste kriegt, das man benötigt.. Deglio Faraldi ist etwas absesits der Touristenströme, und doch sehr gut und zentral gelegen, um die schöne Gegend zu erkunden. Das wunderschöne Cervo und Diano Marina sind knapp 15 Autominuten entfernt, nach Monaco hat man ca. 1 Std. Zum Baden hat uns der von Fabio empfohlene Strandabschnitt bei Cervo mit den tollen Felsbuchten begeistert! Auch das Olivenölmuseum in Imperia ist einen Besuch wert. Nochmals vielen Dank Fabio für die unkomplizierte Abwicklung und die wertvollen Tips. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon darauf wiederzukommen. Familie Lopez, Bern (Schweiz)

Deglio-Entspannung-Urlaub

10 Tage Deglio bedeuten 10 Tage Ruhe und Erholung. Das kleine Dorf in den Hügeln oberhalb des Meeres ist ein wunderbarer Kontrast zum Trubel der Riviera.. Es ist ein idealer Startpunkt für Exkursionen nach San Bartolomeo al Mar, Cervo, Diano Marina oder Imperia. Bummeln, shoppen, Marktbesuche, Restaurants, Strandcafes und Supermärkte finden sich in erreichbarer Nähe der genannten Orte. In weniger als einer Stunde waren wir mit dem Auto in Monte Carlo, wo wir, bei bestem Wetter, einen ganz besonderen Tag verbracht haben. Casino, Yachthafen, Prinzen Palast, teure Autos schöne Menschen, das volle Programm. Die Wohnung „Il Mulino a Vento“ hat uns ganz besonders überrascht. Als höchster Punkt über Deglio genießt man von der großzügigen Terrasse den Ausblick über die Dächer des Dorfes, das ganze Tal hinunter bis zum Meer. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist zunächst sehr praktisch orientiert und man findet alles, was nötig ist, sich, wenn man mag, selbst zu versorgen. Die Fürsorge der Eigentümer endet hier aber nicht. Kleine Aufmerksamkeiten wie duftende Teelichter, Servietten, verschiedene Dekoartikel und Fotos der Umgebung , lassen den Besucher gleich die italienische Gastfreundschaft spüren. Der freundlich bereitgestellte Präsentkorb mit ligurischen Spezialitäten setzt an dieser Stelle ein weiteres Ausrufezeichen. Wegen der laufenden WM habe ich lediglich den äußerst kleinen Fernseher als geringen Mangel empfunden. Familien würden vielleicht eine Spülmaschine oder den Backofen vermissen. Wir fanden diese Unterkunft „extra gut“ und wollen ganz bestimmt wieder kommen. Zum Schluss noch einen ganz besonderen Dank an Fabio, der alle meine lästigen Fragen vor und während des Aufenthalts besonders freundlich, geduldig und informativ beantwortet hat.
