All our huts or cabins face the ocean with full sea view, our facilities are traditional and comfortable. Each hut has a balcony, we provide a mattress which is laid on the locally woven mats, bedding and mosquito nets are also provided. There is no electricity in our village so we provide solar lamps and torches. There is a thatched shower enclosure, buckets are used and water is from the ground well. There is a shared self composting pit toilet that is raised with a seat. We are 6 hours from Port Moresby the capital of Papua New Guinea where the nearest airport is. Due to our rural atmosphere & village setting, all meals will be provided by the care taking family as there are no supermarkets. Most of the menu will consist of locally grown vegetables, depending on what is available on the day, it could consist of fish freshly caught on the day and any game/wild meats that become available. Much of your menu will be what's available day to day as there are no big supermarkets just informal markets & few trade stores, & no electricity so everything is what is sourced fresh daily. You are welcome to gift or appreciate your caretaker family with a small financial token as you see fit.
