Octavia cottage provided everything we needed for our week. The owners were very welcoming and responded to our queries asap. It suited us perfectly (3 adults + 1 dog) with much to see/visit in the near vicinity with lovely walks.

Thank you for your lovely review of Octavia Cottage. We are pleased to hear that you had a pleasant stay. We hope that you visit again soon.
This cottage was just what we Americans were hoping for: rural beauty and seclusion, including daily conversations with sheep and pheasants and horses, combined with a location that made it easy to vist Stratford-on-Avon, Coventry, Oxford, Chipping Campden and Ludlow Castle, all within a week! Good local eateries and local-enough shopping. Owner was highly responsive! Enjoy your stay!!

Thank you for your lovely review of Octavia Cottage. We are pleased to hear that you had a pleasant stay.
When our purchase wasn’t ready we needed to find a let for six weeks and Kathryn came to our rescue :)
Octavia cottage is a cosy retreat with stunning countryside views, a private rear garden and nice walks on the doorstep. I already miss sitting outside looking at the neighbouring sheep and horses.

Thank you for your lovely review of Octavia Cottage. We are pleased to hear that you had a pleasant stay. We wish you well in your new home.
This is the perfect spot to explore the beautiful local area which was new to us. We particularly recommend Hatton Locks & the Locks Cafe situated at the top lock; Warwick Town Trail (from the Visitor Information Centre); Stratford on Avon; Henley in Arden & walks along the Stratford canal from Lapford. The accommodation was comfortable for 2 of us but we think it would be a bit of a squeeze for 4 adults. Although totally true to the photograghs & description we were a little disappointed by the lack of any cupboard space in the kitchen for groceries etc - but this is a minor point. We were just very pleased to be able to get away & visit our son who has just moved to Warwick. Thank you Katherine.

Thank you for your review of Octavia Cottage. We welcome your comments and respond as follows. Octavia cottage is aimed at families with a maximum two adults and two children or three adults and one child. We encourage bigger groups than this to book one of our larger cottages, Bianca cottage or Viola cottage. We have a new kitchen on order for Octavia cottage. The new design addresses the issue of storage with the addition of wall cupboards and our designer has even managed to include a dishwasher! We hope to welcome you again, on your next visit to see your son, to see the changes we will have made.
With best wishes, Katherine
This is a lovely compact cottage with everything to hand. The welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, sugar and cake were very welcome.
There is a back garden, but this was accessed by walking around the properties. Both the gardens had tables and chairs. The outlook at the back of the property was just fields. The outlook to the front was two ponies, delightful. The front was enclosed which was ideal for our dog. A very peaceful location.

Thank you for your lovely review of Octavia Cottage. We are pleased to hear that you had a pleasant stay. We hope that you visit again soon.
The cottage is wonderful, it has everything you could possibly need in, exceptionally comfortable beds, the curtains and blinds work a treat to block out light. I did go have a look at the laundry room and found a plethora of games and books to go through. Thebsurroundeds are so beautifully peaceful with bord song and animals in the fields. Truly a wonderful and perfect location. Katherine is so lovely to talk to and very welcoming, thank you for a beautiful stay

Thank you for your lovely review of the cottage. We are pleased to hear that you had a pleasant stay. We hope that you visit again soon.
We spent the whole month of May at Octavia Cottage and found it to be the perfect combination of rural and urban. Surrounded by fields and countryside walks, you are only ten minutes from all the facilities of Warwick. There are numerous country pubs within a short drive, and one within walking distance. Octavia Cottage is compact but has pretty much everything you need for your stay. The kitchen is small but very nicely done (and even has a dishwasher, despite it's size). We enjoyed our stay and particularly how tranquil the location was.

Lovely, rural location with ponies in paddock at the front and views at the back of fields and cows grazing. Very convenient for things to do; eg Stratford on Avon, National Trust and English Heritage properties. good selection of places to eat out in Knowle, Hatton etc. The property is comfortable, well equipped and we enjoyed our stay and would come again.
