Villa with garden 6-9 people 800 m from Obidos

This comfortable and large house with garden is yours. Upstairs there is a room of 35 m2 with bathroom with jacuzzi. 2 to 4 people can stay here. There are also three balconies, and on the largest one can have breakfast with a view of the castle of Obidos. You come up via a marble staircase. Downstairs there is a fully fitted kitchen. There is a large living room with dining room, lounge and fireplace. There is a twin and a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. In the living room there is also a sofa bed, so that a maximum of 9 people can stay here.

Our property is located at 800 meters walking distance to the castle of Óbidos. The medieval town of Óbidos is one of the most picturesque and best preserved fortified towns in Portugal. Inside the city walls is a well-preserved castle surrounded by a labyrinth of narrow streets and charming white houses. Between the porticoes in Manueline style, the flower-decorated windows and the small squares, you will find various sights, good examples of the religious and civil architecture from the golden times of the town. The medieval festival takes place from July 16 to August 2.

You reach Obidos very smoothly via the A8 motorway. It is less than an hour from the airport in Lisbon. You can reach Lisbon in an hour with the Rapida Verde bus. There is also a train station.

Our property is 7 km from the Obidos lagoon, famous for its water fun. You can go kayaking, sailing, surfing, kite surfing, ... You can make beautiful walks and bike rides. Day trips can be made to Nazaré, Peniche, the Serras de Aire and Candeeiros (with the caves of Mira de Aire and the dinosaur tracks), and Fátima. You can make historical trips to Alcobaça, Batalha and Tomar.

The Berlenga Islands are certainly not to be missed in the summer. You take a boat from Peniche, which is a 20-minute drive from our location.
