Spic & span…? Not!

The property is set in a stunning location & outdoors has great facilities. However, the level of cleanliness inside was extremely disappointing. There was a note in the book to say please leave it spic & span as the cleaner only has limited time. Says it all really… We spent a good couple of hours removing cobwebs, scrubbing bbq & oven, washing crockery & disinfecting surfaces. A whole cupboard had been allocated to rat poison which also alarmed us. Most of the furniture & furnishings need updating & replacing, there is very bad mouldy wall down the side of one of the beds… I could go on and would hope that if renting out a property you put the cleaner on a tariff of “as much as it takes” to get the property to a state suitable for renting. Such a shame as has so much potential.

Fun with family and friends

An excellent location to build memories with friends and family. The house was lovely and the host was really helpful. Would definitely recommend to others

The photos really don't do justice to how lovely this property is! We had a fantastic weekend here in mid January and the house had everything we needed. The highlight was seeing the sunrise from the kitchen window as the mist rolled over the valley. We were very cosy and quickly worked everything out. All 8 guests had a marvellous time- thank you!
