The Space: Neat and Clean 900 sq. ft. amply furnished guest home sits on over 20 largely wooded acres with beautiful views of small private 1.5 acre pond with sandy beach. Ann Arbor, U of M, Detroit Metro Airport, Cabela’s, Milan Dragway, Splash Universe, CleanWater Beach, and Historic Downtown Monroe – all within a twenty minute drive.

Guest Access: Guests make this hideaway home your very own vacation hotspot! Whether looking to stay and relax or plan to be on the go – this place is convenient with ample parking (even with toys in tow)

Interaction with Guests: The friendly hosts live in the main house on the property with their two dogs and have their own personal areas. They are available as needed but are not guaranteed to be on site at all times. Arrangements can be made for late/early check-in directly with hosts prior to arrival. Upon request Hosts are happy to provide guests their recommendations and referrals for area activities and events.

Neighborhood: Safe, secluded country setting on a paved road. The neighbors include wild turkeys, deer and the occasional blue heron. Sorry, No Hunting Permitted on the property.

Getting Around: Close to US 23, I-275 and I-94. Twenty minutes to Ann Arbor and Detroit Metro Airport, Less than an hour to Michigan International Speedway, Greektown, MotorCity, and MGM Grand Detroit Casinos and Hollywood Casino in Toledo. Enjoy Michigan Golf at any of the area courses including nationally recognized Eagle Crest Golf Course. Canoe or Kayak the River Raisin.

Other Things to Note: This home is a well-kept dog friendly vacation rental and pet owners are expected to exercise consideration. Please do not allow pets on the furniture/beds – a large crate is available upon request. Pets are not permitted to free roam the property and are not to be left outside unattended. Pet owners are required to clean-up all doggie “business” and properly dispose of. Your dog is welcome to enjoy a walk on the beach or through the trails with you, but please refrain from using the home’s bath towels for wet and muddy dogs. Please bring your own PAWS towels.

Being in the country this home is on a well and septic system. No laundry facilities, no garbage disposal and no dishwasher. The water system is adequate and has good water pressure and there is always a fresh provision of bottled water for drinking in the refrigerator upon arrival.

About This Listing: This vacation rental is located in a quiet rural community twenty miles southeast of Ann Arbor. It is nestled amongst 20+ wooded acres and has a beautiful, 1.5 acre pond that gives visitors that “away from it all” feeling, while still remaining reasonably close to everything. The home itself has a roomy full size bath with tub/shower and ample bath linens with most necessities available in case guests discover they’ve left something behind. The home has a full kitchen and separate dining area. Full kitchen features: common kitchen utensils, cook ware, coffee pot, toaster and dinner service for four. Each bedroom has a queen bed and sleeps two. The living room area comfortably seats 4-5 and basic antenna/cable is included as is internet access. The entry/foyer has a small desk, daybed and additional room for storage. Outside during warm weather seasons, guests will find a barbeque grill and patio set to sit and enjoy the sun and fresh country air. Guests can watch the sun set and keep warm on the chilly nights and roast marshmallows alongside their own private fire pit. This little vacation hide away has something for everyone.
