About this property
Elegant Villa style Farmhouse within beautiful countryside with infinity pool
Casa Montalto is a beautiful country villa, offering welcoming and spacious accommodation. A perfect location within a rural landscape but close to a village. Take in the serene views of rolling hills and medieval hill top villages from every window, terrace or balcony. Unwind on one of the terraces with a glass of wine. Explore the unspoilt area of South le Marche. Dine al fresco in our extensive gardens with terraces, lawn, herb beds, fruit trees and a beautiful, infinity pool.
A truly relaxing break awaits you!
The villa is available from June-September, making it a perfect summer holiday rental for a group of friends or family. For other months please contact us. Visit us in Autumn when the grapes in our vineyard are ready to be picked for wine and the olives are made into olive oil.
We are flexible with sleeping arrangements, let us know how your party is made up and we can advise accordingly. Check out our casamontalto.com website.
Child Friendly: Having travelled ourselves with three children, we know how tricky it can be. At Casa Montalto we make families welcome and have everything you could possibly need. Cots, highchair, 3 wheeler buggy, back pack, boxes of toys, DVDs/videos, playhouse.
We can also advise on places to go with children such as waterparks, sandy beaches etc
We can organise special occasions like birthdays, friends/family get togethers and intimate weddings.

About the host
Hosted by Debby Manz

We have lived in Le Marche permanently since 2004, arriving with 3 small children, to a derelict house and to the great interest of a small village's residents who then thought we were a bit odd but now have accepted and befriended us. I'm English, my husband is German and our 3 children, all born in Uk but schooled in the local schools here consider themselves to be European.
We have successfully run a business here lemarchehomeservices.com for some years and take care of many holiday homes in the area. We also own a property in the nearby village of Montedinove( a must see beautiful place) where we are based in the summer months. We have seen the area wake up a little to tourism but it is still very much authentic Italy here, and there are many attractions to life here and indeed for the visitor - great beaches 1/2hour away, skiing 1 hour away, art and culture, endless charming villages and one of the days I will get my dream classic open top car to really enjoy the beautiful countryside here...

Why they chose this property
We drove through Tuscany( too full of foreigners and overpriced) Umbria, Emilia Romagna, Abruzzo and Le Marche...the latter left a big impression on us and looking for houses we drove past Casa Montalto to view a ruin at the bottom of the hill, asking if this property was for sale.....the position is one of the best, the house itself imposing etc etc.... a year later, after many ups and downs we moved here, sympathetically restoring the house since then...a labour of love..
What makes this property unique
Nestled in a hillside, what first caught our eye was the symmetry of the house, the high ceilings, the central stairway and as we opened the broken shutters the views from every window either across the valleys to the sea, or towards the mountains or up to the majestic Montalto cathedral. We could see the potential and from then on it had to this house or nothing.
