Halikounas beach is a 3km sandy beach that you can find sunbeds,umbrellas and a beach bar.You can also rent  a kite or a boat for a small boat trip.
If you don't like walk you can enjoy the view and the sunset from villa's roof top terrace.
It takes you 10 minutes by car to visit tourist places with shops,tavernas and bars!

Fantastic villa, wonderful hosts

The property was as good as it looks in the advert. Everything was immaculately clean and Nikos and Katerina could not do enough to help us enjoy our stay. Not just during our time in Corfu but helping with car hire, recommendations prior to the trip. Also we were met at the villa and we had hot food waiting for us due to the lateness of our arrival. Also a nice welcome pack of necessities. Not the greatest 'roads' to access the property but fine when used to it. Plenty of information in the villa for things to do and more importantly a local supermarket who deliver to the property. Good standard of produce and excellent customer service. The finishing touch was a nice departure gift Could not have enjoyed it more.

Beautiful place in a beautiful location

We went off-season in late September when the sun is still very warm as is the water in the sea. Beautiful sandy beach is in walking distance, as is a Byzantine fortress and some lovely and tiring walks up a high(ish) mountain. A few restaurants nearby with traditional Greek food. Hosts are great and very attentive.

A holiday in the Villa Chalikounas I only can recommend to everyone. We stayed with 4 adults and 2 children in the villa. The house was absolutely clean and was cleaned weekly. The equipment was very good, especially pleased us the dishwasher. The pool was perfect and in addition there is a small pool for small children. The children were also thought of. There is a swing and other toys on the area. The owners are incredibly hospitable. We were escorted from the airport by the owner Nikos to the villa and once a week Nikos arranged a barbecue with local delicacies for us. If we had additional requests, they were fulfilled immediately. We were particularly pleased about the “farewell gifts” that were given to us before our departure. I would like to thank Nikos and his daughter again for this unforgettable holiday and can recommend a stay at Villa Chalikounas to everyone.
