3rd stay at El Constante Condos

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit had issues even before we arrived, upon arrival the shower heads in either shower did not function properly and Maintenance came out Tuesday evening to fix / replace heads, the slider door on the main floor was very hard to open and close. The half bathroom door would not open properly and the kids and my wife got stuck inside. The air vent for the a/c unit had dust hanging off of it and had not been cleaned.the furniture felt dirty and had grit or something on them upon arrival, the silverware drawer face fell off and I reattached it and notified the property manager. Overall this was by far the worst one I have ever rented and will not rent this unit again

Great vacation, with one "small" problem.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third year to stay at El Constante. The unit was very nice, comfortable, and affordable. The staff and the overall facilities are excellent. The one problem I had was that one of the guests had parked his very large pickup truck in the disabled parking space next to the front entrance, thereby blocking the wheelchair ramp and the sidewalk. He did have a disabled parking permit, but that doesn't allow him to block the sidewalk and the wheelchair ramp when there are other mobility impaired guests. To make matters worse, he was parked in that same spot for the entire week we were there. This made it difficult for others who are mobility impaired to access the wheelchair ramp and the sidewalk. I reported this to the desk clerk upon check-in, but nothing was ever done. I realize that this problem was caused by an inconsiderate guest and not by El Constante, but it seems that maybe you could install some signs or at least check periodically to make sure this isn't happening. It made it very challenging for those of us with mobility issues to access the property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 2 units, 201 and 203 at the El Constantine, we stayed in 203 and when first walking in thought it smelled a little musty. After the first day I did not notice it anymore. It was a great location, right on the seawalk and close to the jettie. The El Constantine was kept clean and updated and the only complain I have which was partially my fault is that I left a pair of sandals outside by the hot tub and they were gone the next morning. I checked with the desk and no one ever turned them in.

We loved being able to wake up seeing the Gulf and being able to walk to the beach from our place. Unfortunately that was where it stopped for us. When we arrived there was a roach on the counter and the rental is just very Tun down and didn’t seem very clean.

TV setting was different, but staff offered assistance.

The view was fantastic. It was quiet and perfect for a last minute grab. The kitchen was updated and nice. The master bathroom could use some updates to the shower but overall it was a good place.

The property is facing the beach so waking up to see and hear the waves was very relaxing. Our grand-daughters had a great time on the beach splashing in the waves and building sand castles. The beach was very clean and we even saw many sea turtles. It was just a great time for all of us. The property was also very nice and clean. We will definitely return someday, and will recommend it to our friends and family.
