The unit is quite tired. Furniture is uncomfortable and somewhat broken I.e. the bar stools won’t stay up. The bed was miserable for me and my husband rated it as terrible. We had to get TV technicians in three times to get the TVsto work. Loved the management company Padre Escapes

Fantastic little weekend getaway!

This condo is small but clean and has what you need. The property sits right on the beach! We rented a golf cart and rode the 8 miles on the beach all day! It was truly a great time! Will go back for more!

Check-in was smooth and easy, and the place itself is super comfortable, well-decorated, and felt like home away from home. The bed was great, and the nightly rate was very reasonable.A couple of small things kept me from giving 5 stars. The extra fees added to the stay felt a little steep compared to other places we’ve stayed. And as a first-time visitor to the area, it would’ve been nice to have some local recommendations or info provided.That said — I definitely recommend this property and fully plan to stay here again!

Enjoyed the Experience

I took my granddaughter (11) to the beach for a few days. This is my first time to rent a VRBO, and I was pleasantly surprised by the process the the property. The property was clean and nicely decorated. The office staff was helpful, and best of all, we could walk to the beach. The pool was also clean and attractive. All in all, I loved the location (kind of out of the hubbub) and the one bedroom was just fine for the two of us. I would consider renting here again, maybe next time with an view of the beach.

Overall it was nice. It was an easy walk to the beach - out the gate and down the stairs and we were on the sand. The pool was nice. The bathroom was a little tight and the bedroom didn't cool as well as the rest of the unit. The kitchen light was dim, but the office had notified us of that prior to check-in and offered to come in and fix it during our stay, but we opted to have them wait until after we left. We enjoyed our time there. It was a nice getaway.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We liked our weekend here. Few issues: there was an issue with the outside AC unit making a terrible sound all night that kept me up. I msg the mgt company and they were in it asap. We wish there was directions on how to use the remotes for the TV. Never could figure out the main TV but did figure out the bedroom. This unit sits across from the door to the laundry- so we had other tenants just camp out in our chairs outside our window... I guess it was ok but a little odd. They said they were running a few loads and would be done soon.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed 3 nights in unit 133. Everything was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. The lights are pretty bright if someone is sleeping on the sleeper sofa (we did not) so keep that in mind. It’s pretty private in the corner and walks out to the pool (although you can’t really see the pool from the unit). I actually liked that. The only real con is that they don’t really clear off the beach for parking. We got our truck stuck in the sand going to the beach and also leaving. They clear a way to drive but definitely not park....waste of a beach pass. One last thing- the pool water temp is way too hot. Not refreshing. Overall though, great trip.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The stay was okay. Spent a lot of money to have to go and buy a skillet, cake pan and small utensils needed. What was in the unit was something I would not put my food in. The drawer fell out of the stove when opened, no oven light, the burners were not level, oven temperature was not regulated correctly. One frying pan, and 1 large pan and 1 small pan, pizza pan were good. Winter Texans stay there and it is our home. Very poorly furnished. Bed was good. Refrigerator quit working but it started up again when plugging it into the other outlet. Told the office and was told the owner would be contacted. Never heard anything back. Condo needs window coverings that don't let light in. We are booked for next winter but in a different unit.

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at El Constante at numerous condos, this was our 1st time at this unit, I behoove they charge a cleaning fee ahead of time, sadly it was not up to standard. Hopefully they will take notes of our issues and try to fix them for future guests. Of course your paying to be pool side so that's the cool part. As far as our issues, the folding sofa had old crusty underwear in it, once unfolded, I'm sure that the cleaning staff shuttle have seen during the cleaning in between guests. We also have never had this issue at any of the other condos, but the extra pillows that are used for the folding sofa that are located in the bedroom closet were all YELLOW, it was disgusting, you could literally see the sweat/ drool on them. The good thing is once I told them someone brought us replacement in like 30 mins, I wasn't about to let me kids sleep on that. Anyway we love the property, been coming here for years, hopefully our next stay will be better and they do offer a little discount upon booking. Not the owners fault. The kids did like that they put out little children items under the TV drawer. Location great, kitchen stocked with dishes/ basic kitchen needs.

Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately, we gave this room a second chance and we were let down by the lack of cleanliness. We are a small family of 4, so the adults stay in the master, kids stay on the fold out sofa. When we were setting up their sleeping area for the night we found a crusty bra and underwear, that tells us that the sheets that my kids were to sleep on were not changed and nobody cleaned up properly. It's so crazy, because this happened the last time we stayed in this unit. This time around it was already after hours so we couldn't get assistance until the next day. They called the next day andVia phone call the lady offered a time frame. The day went on, then the time frame they promised passed and it was still not cleaned. So we walked into the office, they acted like WE were the ones who picked they time frame, like we needed to wait, like we were inpatient guests, but it had been hours after they said they would be in and out kids wanted a nap, being it was getting closer to the end of the day. I'm sorry but we were going off what was told to us. Seemed like nobody cared, when we asked to speak to a manager they said she wouldn't be available at all and would be busy. Don't think that's a good response. We have been coming here for over 10 years and this is the 1st time we were just treated like whatever. I did miss a phone call from the Mgr, (I actually really like her, and recall speaking to her many times in the past, she's very respectfuland & helpful) called her back but she was gone for the day, we are already back at home. We love the property and have visited and stayed at money of the other rooms in the past including this one. One of the other units that we stayed at last year even had the whole AC unit go out, it was HOT. But they cared and fixed it. We of course understand and try to treat the people working with kindness, because things happen we get that. This is just wild that this happened twice to us. Not cool, when they charge

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my second stay with El Constante and love the location. I have been pleased with the booking process and office staff. Check in was great and condo location was perfect. Here’s what I was disappointed in with the condition of the condo, first walking in there was strong smell of mold and just musty, but I put that as to the condo not being used and lack of circulation, but it might help to run the air conditioning before guests arrive. The bathroom was pretty gross, it didn’t look like it had been thoroughly cleaned. The sink, shower didn’t look like they were cleaned and had to wear my flip flops while I showered and there was feces stuck to the toilet bowl. The kitchen sink was also very dirty and didn’t look like it had been cleaned, the coffee maker had a rusted heating plate and the refrigerator looked like it had food all over it and dishes in cupboard had food still on them.I did bring my own sanitizing and cleaning items because of COVID, but would have expected extra care and attention had been put into the condo’s cleanliness because of covid. Remote was broken and taped prior, but still had trouble using it. I was also woken up on my second day at about 6:30 am to a lot of scratching within the walls/ceiling. I’m not sure if anyone staying above me had a dog and that may have been a reason for the noise or there are rodents. Everything else was fine, I didn’t spend a lot of time in the condo, so I just let it go for the moment. Will I stay here again? Sure, but if the condition and cleanliness of the condo are like they were this last visit, then there will be a problem and request for a cleaner condo. I don’t see the purpose of charging a cleaning fee when the condo isn’t cleaned and presentable. You may want to also suggest to it’s owner that the bedskirt needs to be replaced, not a great impression when it looks dirty and ripped. I didn’t mention it to the office bec

Delightful Rental...

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is located in a private cubby in the complex, very nice and close to the pool. The furniture was well thought out considering the usage of the floor space and allowing comfort for 2 adults and 2 children. Sleeper sofa was very clean (adding an egg crate and mattress pad is a great idea if you’re going to use any sleeper sofa). The televisions were not Smart TVs so no movies, the kids were disappointed, but they adjusted well to board games. To the employees who clean, Shame On You!! We were told that our unit had to be cleaned twice because it failed first inspection. We did not get to check in until 4:30...I honestly believe it was not cleaned at all regarding the microwave and floors. Behind the sofa it was very dirty where pieces of food had been left and the floors did not feel clean. A warning ⚠️ to the owners if you’re paying for this service.
