Séjour très agréable

Le gîte est tres joli, une belle région. Un accueil chaleureux. Tout c est bien passé. Juste il faudrait préciser que la cafetière est sanseo pour prévoir les bonnes dosettes.

Notre groupe de 5 ami.e.s a passé un très agréable séjour dans cette charmante et authentique maison de campagne de Christine, très bien équipée, spacieuse, dotée de 4 grandes et belles chambres, d’une literie de qualité, et située au calme et au cœur de cette si pittoresque campagne gasconne, à une vingtaine de kms de Vic-Fezensac où nous participions au Festival Tempo Latino. La situation du gîte dans le domaine rural de Terre Blanche jouxtant les champs de tournesols, s’est révélée très relaxante pour nous après nos longues immersions dans l’ambiance trépidante du Tempo Latino. Christine, disponible et accommodante, nous a réservé un accueil des plus chaleureux, avec notamment un corbeille de produits de bienvenue aimablement mise à disposition pour notre arrivée dans le gîte, et nous avons aussi apprécié sa flexibilité, notamment pour ce qui concerne nos heures de départ. Notre séjour nous a aussi permis de faire connaissance avec les 2 autres locataires du 2eme gîte situé à proximité, et c’est avec un bonheur partagé que nous avons participé ensemble à l’apéro/brunch offert généreusement par Christine sur le domaine de la ferme, et où nous avons pu par ailleurs nous procurer de délicieux produits agricoles de la « maison » et du terroir gascon. Ces 5 jours passés à Terre Blanche resteront un moment fort pour nous, et c’est avec enthousiasme que nous envisageons d’ores et déjà d’y élire à nouveau domicile à l’occasion de la prochaine édition du festival !

Beautiful Gers

The house was very clean and warm and the bedrooms comfortable. The site is a work in progress, the immediate surrounds of the house are untidy. Although two bathrooms are listed one of the toilets is very small and the staircase is steep and narrow. The downstairs bathroom is new with a wet room shower and plentiful hot water. There were some deficiencies in the kitchen ware and no oven. We discovered the microwave in a utility room cupboard. The photo of the house implies that the rental is of the whole house, but this is not so. The front door shown is not the access point and is barred closed next to a derelict room. The house is divided into more than one gite. The property has the potential to be a very good rent and is situated in lovely countryside with superb views. St Puy has a good restaurant. We are sure the owners are remedying some of our concerns.

Thank you for all your advice, we consider it a chance for us to be able to progress. We bought 4 outdoor chairs and an oven, as well as 2 new mattresses. To be completely honest, you could have added to your comment that we "offered" you the groceries you had requested before your arrival (since you did not reimburse us), that we reserved the restaurant for you, and that you left the house very dirty. Maybe you should choose rentals with more features, but it's more expensive!
