There are many beaches in and around Peniscola from Playa del Norte to Playa Sur. Playa Sur is located near the fishing port and this fine sandy beach is 850 metres in length and characterised by its calm waters sheltered by the breakwater and is where you can practice sailing, windsurfing and other water sports. Peniscola is full of restaurants offering a wide range Mediterranean cuisines, mini markets and traditional pottery. Lovers of fishing and diving will appreciate the potential of underwater life and the sportier type will discover the tracks and trails in the area.
