This excellent property was built by its owner, Carmen. Designed in the style of a typical Andalusian farmhouse and tastefully decorated with meticulous attention to detail, it features hand-restored antique furniture. Well-equipped, comfortable, and functional.

The accommodation consists of one bedroom with a double bed and another with two single beds, a cosy living-dining room with satellite TV, a wood-burning fireplace, and a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen. All rooms have air conditioning, central heating, and free Wi-Fi. It features a large covered porch with several areas for both relaxing and dining. Carefully maintained gardens, a large outdoor space with various seating areas, a tree-lined walkway surrounded by olive trees and grapevines, and private parking. The pool and sun deck area features lounge chairs and is located next to the barbecue area, which includes a refrigerator and a dining area for 6 people.

The rental includes water and electricity charges, as well as bed linens and towels (except beach towels), which are changed weekly.

Located in the foothills of the Sierra Almijara National Park, with easy, convenient, and safe access. Just a few minutes from the beautiful Andalusian village of Frigiliana and a few kilometres from Nerja, it offers breathtaking views of the sea, the mountains, and the Frigiliana valley. Just 45 minutes from Málaga and 100 kilometres from Granada. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the house to the town of Frigiliana.

In 2012, Cortijo Fuente Santa was the first Andalusian home selected for the cover of IKEA Family’s LIVE magazine, where it was featured in an extensive article in the summer issue. The publication is edited and translated into more than 28 languages.

The house was a lovely secluded place with beautiful views. Amazing pool and terraces around the house for relaxing and enjoying some peace and solitude. Frigiliana is a picturesque and very interesting town with a rich history and varied restaurants with some amazing food. Nearby Nerja is a different experience, but also very lovely in its own right. Happy to spend time in Carmen's house - very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Highly recommended.

Had an absolutely fantastic time. The property exceeded all expectations. The pool and bbq area was brilliant and there are wonderful views of sea and mountains. From the various different aspects of the property. Wide variety of well thought out sitting areas. Great walking and hiking accessible directly from the house and Frigiliana also easily accessible. The communications from Carmen and Alfonso who also met us on arrival and gave us a helpful tour of the property. Great stay all round !

Perfect in every way possible. An idyllic get away but close enough to explore the area if you wish. The pictures don’t do this charming delightful villa justice. It is very well equipped, beautiful decor even down to the fresh flowers in the bedroom. Wonderful week highly recommend. Alfonso there to greet when we arrived and very helpful when needed.

We had the most amazing week in this beautiful, quiet house. The inside is just perfect, with everything you could need. The outside space is a tranquil haven which we were happy to spend most of our time in. The pool and outside kitchen are fantastic and the whole area is very private.The house is about a 20-30 minute walk from Frigiliana and the restaurants, so really a car is essential. Nearby Nerja has a great variety of supermarkets and we spent days in Frigiliana, Nerja and Granada.I would absolutely recommend this Andalusian idyll.

A hidden gem

A beautiful cortijo/Villa just above the village of Frigiliana. Views of the sea and coast from the well maintained and landscaped gardens with numerous places to sit and relax and take in the views and the smell of the surrounding pine trees. We have stayed in numerous villas over the past twenty years in the Frigiliana area and this is one of the best.

Perfect retreat

Beautiful well equipped house with amazing views down to the sea, lovely pool area and gardens, peaceful and private. I’be been visiting this area for the past fifteen years and this is probably one of the nicest houses I’ve stayed in. Amazing Stay

We had such a lovely stay at this property - when we arrived we were stunned at how beautiful the home and location are. Communication for check-in was seamless and flexible, we communicated with Alejandro via Whatsapp and this made things nice and easy. The property itself was so beautiful, nice and clean and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Both bedrooms and living room had a/c which was a real luxury. The pool area was incredible and a real peaceful haven nestled into the amazing landscape. Really would recommend a stay here!

Fantastic place!

Charming and very clean house surrounded by a large property with great sea view and so many outdoor seating places that we couldn't use them all within our one week's stay... :-) Also the outdoor kitchen (grill) by the pool was very welcomed by us. Everything (inside and outside) is arranged/decorated so tastefully that it's a pleasure to be there. Also the contact with Carmen and Alfonso was very nice. Highly recommendable!

What an amazing place!

Carmen and Alfonso are really nice people (thank you both!) and the villa is without a doubt, the best holiday home my wife and I have stayed in. Spotlessly clean and really well equipped. A great location only a stones throw from Frigiliana. Close enough to the coast for easy access but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be really peaceful. We thought we would use the house as a base to explore Andalusia from but it’s such a great place that we spent most of our time there. We will be back!
