Tuck yourself away in the beauty of Bay Creek - a gated community. This spacious and charming, three-bedroom, 2.5 bath carriage house is located in the quiet village of New Quarter.The community has a private beach and pools. The golf course is private.

It has been furnished with everything you need to feel right at home, including a fully-equipped eat-in kitchen, vaulted ceilings, jacuzzi tub, washer and dryer, sunroom, semi-private patio, and professionally landscaped yard. There is plenty of room for friends and family with ample space for eight people.

Tennis courts and outdoor junior Olympic community pool and kids pool is within a five-minute walk or ride the one mile to the beautiful sand beach on the Chesapeake Bay. The tennis courts are fenced and available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Visit the Cape Charles Coffee House and shops on Mason Street and at the Marina. Biking, kayaking, and paddle boats (rentals available at the marina). The town has a 200-foot fishing pier for fishing, crabbing, or watching the world's most beautiful sunsets.

Two new attractions in Cape Charles include brewery and Cape Charles Distillery. The Irish Pub is a favorite spot for sipping your favorite ale or eating fish and chips. Join the locals on Monday night for a friendly game of darts. The Brown Dog Ice Cream shop serves home made ice cream all summer.

Travel up Route 13 to Onancock and take the Ferry to Tangier Island.Visit the National Wildlife Refuge in Chincoteaque and see the wild ponies. Other activities include harbor parties, decoy carving events, craft fairs, and pony penning. kayaking, ecotours and local events.

Take a 30-minute drive across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel and enjoy such attractions as the Virginia Beach Boardwalk and oceanfront, golfing, the Marine Science Museum, MacArthur Mall, the Chrysler Museum, Nauticus Maritime Center, Harbor Park, and Waterside. Busch Gardens or Colonial Williamsburg are wonderful day trips from the shore.

Bay Creek resort has a restaurant and a marina.

The house was perfect! It has everything you could need. The location was perfect as well, with access to the pool and the beach and a short ride to town. I recommend renting a golf cart - it was really helpful! The host was very easy to get in contact with. We had a great stay and I’d recommend!

Perfect Family Getaway

My husband, kids and I stayed in this beautiful home in July 2011. We loved it so much - chalked it up there as one of our favorite family vacations. We want to come back homeopfully this year. An old property that needs updating and maintenance. Plumbing fixtures were functional but outdated. Who years uses push-pull faucets. Lighting fixtures in dining area and living area need replaced or dimmer switches. The king size mattress was horrible, needs to be replaced with a quality mattress.

Great Stay in Cape Charles

Great location and property in Cape Charles. Lawrence was very responsive with a few questions and his place was great with everything you need. The one bedroom upstairs without a fan can get pretty warm compared to the house, but other than that it was perfect. We even rented a golf cart for the week and they were able to deliver and pick it up right at the house.

We have stayed in Cape Charles often and this is our favorite place so far!! The pictures do not do this place justice- it is so nice!!! Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. We did a puzzle on the big dining room table, worked remotely from the sunroom, and read a book on the back patio. Lawrence is an excellent host and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

A great place to gather with family for rest and relaxation.

Saratoga Charmer is a wonderful, spacious townhouse to spend a quiet, relaxing vacation. The kitchen was well equipped. Everyone loved the sun room for morning coffee and board games with kids. Patio was nice too but couldn't use because of the heat wave. Beach was quiet and refreshing. Grandkids had a ball and didn't want to leave. Cape Charles will be our go to beach destination when you want to avoid the crowds.

Expansive Two Level Townhome in Bay Creek

Very nice townhome in quiet neighborhood of Bay Creek. Nice access to a private beach on the Bay side Terrific golf course and more. Only drawback was that the pools close at Labor Say despite the great weather in September. That should be noted in the narrative. I expected the pools to be open at least till the 1st week in October.

Family Thanksgiving Stay

I have rented the Saratoga Charmer over several years. Lawrence’s home is warm and full of love. My family and I love its simplicity and beauty. It is open and just elegant.
