We were there for a wedding. The home is amazingly comfortable, spacious, and we loved the location. The views of the lake are so beautiful. The house itself is perfect for a family gathering, very well set up, great kitchen for cooking, ping pong and bikes gave us plenty of activities in between wedding events. Highly recommend this place !!

14 of us went to this beautiful home for our 49th reunion from Furman University. Steve and Lana were a joy and blessing to work with. The house, location and amenities far exceeded our expectations. We had a blast which included, a round of golf, games galore, great cookouts and of course some College Football and Ryder Cup on TV. Our fellowship was wonderful, so much so we’re planning to go back in a couple of years. Bottom line… I would strongly recommend. Blessings, Don

Great girls weekend

Our group of 7 women thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. Everything was very clean, communication with the owners was fantastic, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house is in a quiet cove, and the views were amazing. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Great stay in Oconee!

The house was amazing for our group of 14. My dad celebrated his 70th birthday and we had family come in from all over the country. We used the fire pit every night, took out the wooden canoe and went fishing off the dock. The kids rod bikes up and down the street. The bedrooms were large and beds very comfortable!

Family friendly vacation

Our 2 large families (ages 1 - 48) enjoyed staying at this beautiful lake house. Plenty of space and activities for everyone to enjoy. Location is about 1 hour away from other larger cities or tourists sites to see. Great spot and loved having a Publix close by!

Great spot for large groups

This house is huge and has ample room for large groups and multiple families. Our group has stayed here twice and very much enjoyed it both times. I am very picky about cleanliness and I think the cleaning crew does an amazing job - everything was spotless! The interior is not updated or upscale, but the outdoor space and amenities offered, such as kayaks and bikes, make up for it and make this house one of the best values on Lake Oconee. Our group would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful House

This house has all of the amenities you can think of! Beautiful location, plenty of space for everyone, awesome porches, top of the line appliances, linens, etc. Beds were super comfortable. And Steve (the owner) stopped by for a short visit, making sure that everything was just perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to meet him. Would highly recommend this house and hopefully one day we will get to come back!

Dad’s Birthday Getaway

We created unforgettable memories celebrating our father’s birthday. Our children ages 2 to 42 enjoyed the property amenities taking bikes ride, roasting marshmallows by the fire pit and relaxing in the hot tub. ***I will suggest the cleaning crew needs to be more detailed for safety reasons.***

Wonderful luxury Lake Oconee Property perfect for families!

We stay at Lake Oconee every summer and as our family gets larger we searched and found this property. It is amazing. The hosts have really done a superb job of making each room feel special. The rooms are so spacious and the entire house is decorated so well for lake life and comfort! The screened porch was a very popular place and the backyard porches added additional places everyone could find a spot to relax. We rented a boat from the next cove over at oconee wild water sports and had it for three days. The dock and cove also provided a great place for people to just float around. The location of this house in relation to restaurants and Publix is also super convenient! We even left a few clothing items behind in the washer and the host collected them and is sending them-Above and beyond! So happy we chose to stay here and will definitely consider staying again!

BEAUTIFUL HOME! Well Stocked

My family had such an amazing stay at this home. The photos well represent the space, but some of the descriptions are not accurate. There are only 2 bedrooms on the main, and the rest of the bedrooms are upstairs. Just to clarify. The home! So much room and space. The FROG was amazing addition and space. The children loved all the instruments in that room. You can tell Steve and Lana really love that home. The whole house is stocked with everything you made need. Blankets, toys, activities, games, television, bikes, helmets, literally everything. Never seen a kitchen with so many offerings. The best part of our trip was using the kayaks and canoe on the lake. The canoe IS BEAUTIFUL. It was a highlight for everyone in attendance. We will never forget this trip.

The house was exactly as advertised absolutely beautiful home!! The kitchen had everything you would need to cook a full blown meal. The back patio is where we spent most of our time. We had 10 adults and had plenty of room. All the sleeping arrangements were nice. There were plenty of things to do. We had planned to rent a boat but it was very windy and the water was quite choppy so we had to skip that. We did go into Eatonton and to Greensboro both only 20 minutes away. There are plenty of places to eat and there is a Publix supermarket 5 minutes from the house. So all in all we had a fantastic time and we all would definitely recommend this beautiful house. Thanks to Lana and Steve they were very easy to communicate with!

Very private home on huge lot. Rooms were very spacious with plenty of room for both gathering together and private time. Lots of good restaurants nearby as well as in Madison and Greensboro. Owners were fantastic to work with and went the extra mile to make sure our stay was fantastic. Highly recommend!

We moved to Georgia in 1986 from Wisconsin, which is where we learned the value of lake property. We promptly investigated the major lakes in GA and came to the conclusion that gorgeous, quiet Lake Oconee was the place we wanted to be. We bought our 1/2 acre in 1989. Being newlyweds, we couldn't afford to build anything on it right away, so we started small with building our dock and getting our boat. That way we could enjoy the lake. In 2001, with 2 young boys, we built the main level of the cottage and left the upper level unfinished. Steve put his handyman skills to work to finish out the upstairs over the years. In 2016-17 we finally built the garage, added a driveway, and improved the landscaping with the beautiful terraced patios you see now. We are so happy to share our piece of heaven!
