I stayed in this Villa with my family, it’s a stunning villa but I feel someone has moved out in a rush and is focused on selling the property rather than renting. In my opinion it is not equipped enough for a holiday rental. There were so many problems, where do I start? The dishwasher smelt and the sink was blocked and smelled in the kitchen, when dishes came out of the dishwasher they smelt awful and were not clean properly! Which made cooking practically impossible as we struggled to clean the dishes, there were bare minimum utensils which meant we actually struggled to make meals for the family. In fact, the kitchen was no where near equipped enough for a family with only one large knife which struggled to cut through a piece of bread. The WiFi did not work when we arrived which was a pain as my husband had to work and it took 5 days before the owner had it reinstalled . The TV was completely disconnected and when my husband finally got it working it has been smashed and the screen was completely broken, the owner had a technician come out and replaced it with another however, it was in Russian or another language which we could not work and there for could not do an automatic install, to actually get the tv stations on. So no TV for the entire stay. The bedrooms downstairs are not fit for purpose as the air conditioning does not work in them and they are like a blast furnace!
Our bedroom door handle was broken and came off both sides so we could not close the door for the duration of our stay! Which meant the air conditioning did not cool the room sufficiently. There was no hot water I don’t know why, but we did not have a hot shower or bath the whole time we were there, which meant the kids had to have cold showers.
The main bedroom bedside lamp had been broken previously and glued together and when my 10 year old son moved it to charge his phone it fell apart and he cut his hand.
Finally if you are wanting to sunbath around the pool I’m afraid you will be doing it on the floor as there are no sun loungers, just two horrendous, rusted, broken and filthy metal sun loungers which I would feel embarrassed taking to the tip!
It’s such a shame as the villa could be amazing, it is in a great location and completely private. However if the villa does not sell quickly and remains on the rental market I feel the owner needs to seriously do some work on the property and invest in some cooking utensils and sun loungers urgently.
