The Geraldton Airport offers hourlong flights to and from Perth on a daily basis, with Qantas and Virgin Australia being the two primary airlines. You can take a 4-hour coach ride from Perth to Geraldton via the Old Railway Station. Transwa coaches also make stops at the nearby towns of Greenough and Dongara. TransGeraldton, the public bus system, takes visitors around town and to the outlying beaches. If you plan to self-drive from holiday homes, Indian Ocean Drive and Brand Highway are the main roads through the region. You will find that many attractions are within easy walking distance so you won’t need a car for most occasions.
