Nestled on the north coast of the island of Crete, close to the picturesque village of Palaiokastro, with stunning views of the Aegean Sea the newly built complex of Malvezzino Luxury Villas is an exquisite spectacle of minimalism, comfort and form built on an island of unique identity. The hillside location enjoys breathtaking, panoramic views of the sea and Heraklion city (which is only 15 km away) and offers easy access to many beaches, the closest being just a 2 minutes drive (1,2 km).

Layout

Villa Hellena is one of the 6 private residences, covering 60 m2, featuring 1 bedroom and can accommodate up to 3 guests. The property features wide open spaces, with a living room, dining area and open kitchen, also offering Netflix and central A/C. The villas simple luxury and purity of materials will make you fall in love at first sight, promoting unlimited moments of relaxation on an island of unspoiled beauty and authenticity. Also, the in-ground architecture, natural stone and wide openings create a cool ambience and keep the Villa airy and sunny.

Interior

The main entrance opens up to an open plan area featuring the living room with corner sofa, 50 HDTV and fully equipped kitchen with built-in branded appliances and breakfast counter. The bedroom offers a king size bed (1,60 X 2,00), 43 HDTV and en-suite bathroom with double sinks and shower cabin with hydromassage column are also available. The living room and bedroom both provide direct access to the pool terrace, thanks to their floor-to-ceiling glass doors and enjoy beautiful sea views.

Exterior

The pool terrace features a private, heated, 35 m2 infinity swimming pool with hydromassage (1,30 m deep) and unobstructed sea vistas, while being equipped with 1 double daybed, outdoor sofa and a hanging chair, as well as an outdoor shower for your comfort. Furthermore, the outdoor dining area under the shade of a pergola is ideal for al fresco dining. Finally, the Villa is fully fenced, offering total privacy and has its own entrance and private parking space inside the Villa premises with a gate. The pool heating system can be used with an additional daily charge for the entire stay and it requires at least one week advance notice.

To make things even better, our guests have the privilege to benefit from the Spa Facilities available at the complex, which include:

- Massage

(The spa room also offers an additional Shower cabin and WC. Treatments are provided with extra charge and by appointment).

Amazing!

We loved staying at this property! It was luxury while also feeling very comfortable. We were recommended to have a rental car, and I am grateful for that recommendation. The location provides a lot of privacy, which means its a few min drive to restaurants and the city. Dimitri, our concierge, was a pure delight! He was always quick to respond, and assist us with spa bookings and wonderful city recommendations. We have every intention of staying here again for future visits.

Best Stay Near Heraklion!

Our stay at Villa Hellena was incredible! The villa was so beautiful, clean and private. Dimitris, Kostas and the etouri team were all excellent and so responsive to any questions and arranging truly anything else we needed. The kitchen has updated appliances and they even went shopping for us prior so we had everything needed to cook from check in (just need to provide a list a few days prior to check in). He also had the wine fridge stocked with delicious local wines which was an added bonus (minibar style). Our favorite part was hanging by the spacious pool and enjoying the beautiful view. We never heard a single neighbor, it was so quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend watching the sunrise over Dia island from the patio, it’s breathtaking! Also recommend getting a massage at the on site spa. Do not hesitate to book this place, it’s even better in person than it looks in pictures! Thanks for an AMAZING stay, we will definitely be back!

Wonderful place to stay

We loved the privacy and the quietness of the Villa. It was easy to find. The quality of the Villa was first class, spacious and very well equipped. Everything worked just as it should. We loved how it was furnished. The bed was very comfortable. The ‘welcome pack’ was great and very useful. The pool was fantastic and excellent that it was heated, which we would strongly recommend if you stay when the weather is not boiling hot. As each Villa is separate and none overlook another, it did feel very private. The architect had also clearly given thought to acoustics as you could hardly hear any sounds from other villas. The view is amazing and it is easy and quick to drive into Heraklion. We absolutely loved it here.

Perfect place for our honeymoon

My wife and I came to Crete for the last leg of our Greece honeymoon. When we saw this vacation rental listing online, our heart was set on it and we took the plunge. But we were shocked to find out ... that the place vastly EXCEEDED our expectations. We loved everything about the villa. We opted for the heated pool (which I recommend btw, because otherwise the water would be quite frigid) and were able to enjoy it every single day. The villa is super new (literally less than a year old) and was way nicer than most places we've stayed even in high end hotels in the US. Everything was incredibly modern (sometimes too much, simpler light switches anyone?) and they got every little quality of life detail right. Chromecast-ing to TV just worked. Separate room for toilet and shower? Check. Cleaning person that comes in the middle of your stay, check. Floor to ceiling windows, check. The place was truly beautiful inside and out. The owner was on-site a lot of the time and had food, some light groceries, and wine waiting for us after a stressful ferry over. The owner even arranged for some clothes of ours to be washed and pressed, it was all a very seamless experience. Etouri was a great travel concierge provider as well. They made it super easy for us to order meals for delivery (which they did on our behalf). They made it easy to secure a rental car with just a few quick emails and made sure to drop off and pick up the car from our villa! We will stay here again the next time we are in Crete and let our friends / family know to stay here. Thanks for such an awesome stay!

Perfect villa!

This has to be the most luxurious villa we've even been to. Every thing was clean and so beautiful, the pool and the view were fantastic. Also the hospitality was beyond amazing. We will definitely be back!
