About this property

Detached house with a large garden and a huge pool

It is a very pretty house, adorned with slate stone, and with a fenced garden of 2000 m2 . Inside the property there is a swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests (also fenced for safety), a huge pool for a detached house, with 140 m3 (140.000 liters) of water. The pool contains slightly salty water to improve the well-being of bathers (saline chlorination) as well as night lighting. In the garden, there is barbecue, a picnic area, a large trampoline for children, a two-story wooden house for the children, a ping pong, a fireplace and arenal to play. It is a house perfectly suited to enjoy the holidays, with everything that a family may need for several days.
The house has a large hall, with a sofa and a zone with toys for children (that can be used). A large smart Led TV connected to internet is available. A door opens to the sleeping area, with two double bedrooms, and two rooms with beds (one with two and another with three beds). Likewise, there is a sink with shower, and a small room to comb or shave, with a water spike. To finish, the ground floor has a garage, with a washing machine, a drier, an auxiliary refrigerator, a table football and space for bicycles or motorcycles.
The second floor is accessed by a staircase, where there is a large living/dining room, with a table and a large sofa to relax or watch TV. Around the entire living room, and outwardly, there is a flowered balcony that surrounds the whole house. On this balcony there is a table for breakfast or dinner outside. From this balcony, the landscape is very beautiful, with the pool on one side, and a mountain with green trees on the other. In a room attached to the dining room, there is the kitchen, which has a dishwasher and refrigerator.
The house is located in an area with secluded houses, in a quiet street near the main road. There is a bar and restaurant within 200 m. Concurrently, there is a sports court that can be used (with goals and baskets). It is a very quiet area, where the most noise may be the hens, donkeys or pets.
The landscape is very beautiful, whit a very varied flora and fauna, with fountains and abundant streams. The garden is also green and cared for, with shaded areas and shrubs and flowering plants.

A home from home

Javier's house was fantastic. Enormous pool and a great garden if you had children with you. We were a couple so had plenty of space. The house is well equipped with everything you need and Javier was a very responsive host. We were also just five minutes away from a decent bar restairante for the odd meal out. We had very bad weather for a few days so the television offering was a tad disappointing unless you speak German.! But i would come back and recommend to anyone wanti g a ni e stay fairly close to Girona. El cal ganso

Het zwembad was schoon en goed onderhouden. Huis is ruim en wat gedateerd, maar alles functioneert heel goed. Het huis is ruim en heel erg fijn. Badkamers en keuken waren netjes. Tolles Haus, zwar in die Jahre gekommen aber charmant. Es war alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Nähe zur Großstadt (18min) einfach toll. Sehr netter Vermieter, reibungsloser Check in und out. Ruhige Lage, eingezäunt für den Hund und super Pool. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Ein Haus im Wandel

In vielen Bewertungen liest man von einem Bad. Aktuell ist ein weiteres Bad im Bau. Dies hst uns sehr gefreut. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Pool wirklich ein Traum. Der Eigentümer ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Haus ist etwas mehr im Landesinneren, wer hier zum Strand möchte muss Fahrtzeit in Kauf nehmen. (Wir wussten dies, daher hat es uns nicht gestört )Alles in allem ist das Haus gut geeignet um dort locker einen zwei Wochen Urlaub zu verbringen.

Nous avons passe un magnifique sejour chez Xavier. Tout etait tres bien. La maison est tres bien situee pour la visite de la Catalogne, village Sant Gregori a 10km pour les courses, pharmacie, resto.Tres bon accueil et reactivite de Xavier.La maison est tres confortable et au calme.Les seuls commentaires un peu negatifs et notes dans d autres avis est le bruit de la pompe de la piscine ainsi que la salle de bain assez etroite pour une famille.(Xavier y est attentif et semble vouloir y apporter les solutions adequates)Un plus serait un acces direct de la terrasse vers le jardin/piscine.Merci a Xavier pour ce magnifique sejour !

We are a family with five children. I have a wide knowledge of the country, the best tourist places in the area. I speak Catalan, Spanish, English and understands French. I like gardening as a hobby as well as hiking.

Why they chose this property

My father built the house in 1975 (and later rehabilitated) and it was the summer house of the family, where we spent the summer. As it is 15 minutes drive from the capital (Girona), it meant being able to enjoy a superb landscape next to the main city of the area.

What makes this property unique

The main attraction of the house is the swimming pool, which can accommodate a simultaneous bath of up to 25 or 30 people. The house has a balcony where you can enjoy the leafy landscape of the area. The layout of the different rooms of the house is very practical and functional. The house, with the garden and swimming pool, can be used for several days to enjoy a quiet and relaxing stay, or at the same time can be used as a starting point to visit and visit the northern area of Catalonia (Figueras, Girona, Barcelona, Garrotxa, Empordà ....), it is a 10-minute drive from the A-7 motorway.
