Holiday in El Roque / El Cotillo

We had a wonderful holiday at this villa. The property was very clean and well equipped in a quiet location in the village of El Roque, just 10 minutes from the beaches and town of El Cotillo. It is stylish and modern and has a beautiful secluded terrace area with heated pool a bbq and plenty of seating and areas to relax and sunbathe. The property owner Manuel was very helpful regarding booking and meeting us for handover of keys even on a Sunday afternoon, so a big thank you to him. We were very impressed all around and having stayed in the area several times before, will look to this or one of Manuel's other villas when we come back again.

Fantastic villa very well equipped. The swimming pool was perfect and heated. Loved every second. Air-conditioning would have been the cherry on the cake as very hot at night. Will return 4 stars all day long would be 5 stars with Air-conditioning

Relaxing break

The house was amazing, just like on the pictures. It was very well equipped, had everything you could ask for. It's a shame about the pool, it is not heated to we couldn't use it at all. The Jacuzzi was great on the other hand. I also asked about the BBQ in advance (before we made the booking) as my husband loves to BBQ. The gas heated plate looked very disappointing, we didn't use it at all. It would make a big difference if they had a proper BBQ and pool heating (which is in my opinion wouldn't be a huge investment). Also the neighbors are very close, even though there is a wall so you can't see them, but you can hear them. Me and my husband needed some piece and quiet, this is how we decided on the location, and the people next door had kids who were very loud. The location is very quiet, you definitely need a car to get around.

Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und dort eine schöne Woche verbracht. Es ist super eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Schade war, dass der Pool nicht beheizt war. Mit Meerblick und beheiztem Pool wäre es für uns perfekt.

Tolles Haus in Meeresnähe

Wir haben uns vier Wochen lang unglaublich gut erholt. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht, ist toll ausgestattet und sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Das Meer ist fussläufig zu erreichen und hat hat wunderschöne Strände. Laurent ist ein supernetter Vermieter, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

Quiet and restful

My wife and I had a week in this villa and I have to say it was very relaxing. Situated in a quiet part of El Roque, although to be honest I dont know of a noisy area in El Roque. Perfect place to unwind. I loved the outside areas, with different places to stay in, or out of the sun. The hot tub was a bonus and a great way to relax in the evenings with a glass of wine. The villa was well equipped should you wish to cook dinners etc, but there are so many good restaurants around that we didn't use the kitchen that much. Would recommend this villa for a restful stay.

Puristisch elegant!

Das Ferienhaus liegt zusammen mit 4 weiteren Häusern (uneinsehbar von den anderen Häusern) in El Roque, wurde vom Eigentümer erbaut und wird über ihn verwaltet. Haus, Pool und Gartenanlage sind puristisch und elegant gestaltet, in sehr gutem und gepflegtem neuem Zustand - der Eigentümer legt großen Wert auf Sauberkeit. So werden die Bali-Liegen vor jeder neuen Belegung abgewaschen und das Wasser des Whirlpools gewechselt - Toll! Wir haben mit 3 Erwachsenen in dem Ferienhaus gewohnt und hatten damit viel Platz. Die Küchenausstattung ist nicht üppig, dafür aber sauber. Wer gerne kocht, sollte sich ggf. ein eigenes Küchenmesser-Set mitbringen. Das Haus liegt unweit (7 Auto-Minuten) eines herrlichen Lagunen-Strands und (4 Auto-Minuten) eines Supermarkts. In El Cotillo befinden sich viele ausgezeichnete Restaurants und Bars, sodass es einem an nichts fehlt. Da wir keine Wassersportler (Surfen und Tauchen) sind, fanden wir die Umgebung jedoch eher langweilig (daher den Abzug von einem Stern) . Wir haben einen herrlichen Urlaub mit viel Sonne, Wind, gutem Essen und Nichts-tun verbracht und uns wunderbar erholt - immer gerne wieder.

Wir haben in dem Haus zu viert unseren Familienurlaub verbracht und uns absolut wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und modern eingerichtet. Das absolute Highlight war allerdings der Außenbereich mit Pool und Jacuzzi (wurden zweimal die Woche gereinigt!). Super nette Vermieterin, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

The villa is stunning, modern kitchen, lovely showers, huge glass doors to the garden where there is a nice (if a bit chilly pool) and a fabulous hot tub. Areas for improvement - bedrooms need air conditioning and there’s no barbecue, just a gas fuelled hot plate. Overall would definitely recommend the villa.

Wir haben das Haus zu viert bewohnt und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Der Innenhof ist mit einem großen Pool, einem Whirlpool und diversen Sitz- und Liegmöglichkeiten ausgestattet, sodass man problemlos auch ein paar Tage im Haus verbringen kann. In 20 min erreicht man zu Fuß El Cotillo, hier hat man diverse Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Zum Strand gelangt man ebenfalls in gut 20min. Wir können dieses Haus besten Gewissens weiterempfehlen und möchten uns noch einmal bei Laurent und seiner Frau für diesen schönen Urlaub bedanken.

Relaxing stay in modern villa..

Case Maeva is a lovely clean and well equipped villa and a great place for our family of three to spend half term. The lovely sheltered outside area is the perfect spot for sunbathing and relaxing on the daybeds but the unheated pool is for the brave only (in February anyway!) Bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of storage and bathrooms spotlessly clean. There are no shops or restaurants in El Roque but this is more than made up for at nearby El Cotillo which is only a few minutes drive away with lovely beaches, bars and restaurants. The owners Laurent and his wife Eliza were very pleasant to deal with and only a call away if there were any issues (which there weren't). The only thing missing was a picture or two on the expanse of white walls as the interior is a bit stark but it certainly didn't detract from the pleasure of our stay!
