Kestrel Barn (UK31353) and Skylark Barn (UK31354) are both semi-detached barn conversions that are accessed by a private drive. They both offer four bedrooms two of which are en-suite. They also boast wood burners and private hot tubs, making these the perfect year-round escape. Swaffham itself has lots of great places to eat, drink and shop, all accessible on foot. If you venture a little further you will begin to see why this part of Norfolk is so popular with guests.
Thetford Forest is just 30 minutes away, where you will find acres of natural woodland to explore along with High Lodge and Go Ape. You are also only 30 minutes away from the gateway to the North Norfolk coast, too, where you will find an array of sandy beaches, salt marshes and quays. Visit Hunstanton to find a town packed full of traditional seaside attractions. Or head to Wells-next-the-Sea for the famous quay and narrow-gauge railway. While you are driving between the two, make sure you schedule in time to stop off at some of the pretty seaside villages that lie along this coastline, most with places to shop and eat and all with a variety of coastal habitats.
History buffs should visit one of the many stately homes and National Trust properties that can be found in the area including the Sandringham Estate, Peckover House and Holkham Hall. Visits to the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn and the famous Norman Castle of Norwich are also worthwhile, with both places offering numerous museums, galleries and other attractions too. There are also great bird watching opportunities, walks and cycle rides available too. Beach 20 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.
