Great enjoyment can begin! Sitting on the terrace, in the morning sun with a cup of coffee. Or would you prefer the cool shade to start your day? It's all possible in and around Villa Helios, located between Xirosterni and Vamos, in the NorthWest of Crete. Each bedroom has an outside patio area with fantastic mountain and sea views.br>The quiet and space in your garden make another fantastic day. Take a dip in your spacious swimming pool or relax on one of the many terraces.
It is a 45-minute drive from Chania airport. Heraklion Airport is approximately 100 minutes by car.
Almyrida beach is approximately 10 minutes by car with its many taverns and bars.

one of the most important parts of any villa holiday is that the villa meets your expectations and aspirations. Villa Helios did this in every possible way. Perfect Villa in great location

We are frequent visitors to Crete and always choose to stay in a villa. This property was perfect for us. Quality fixtures and furnishings, roomy and comfortable. The villa was super clean, and during our 10 day stay the cleaning crew came by to change sheets and towels and spruce the place up. The welcome pack on arrival was a lovely and appreciated touch. All in all a great place to stay and would happily revisit this villa.

Wonderful Villa

A well-appointed villa in a very quiet location with tavernas and small shops a few minutes away - a couple that can easily be walked to, others a short drive. Great views with the sea in one direction (even if some distance away!) and the dramatic White Mountains the other. We had a couple of minor problems (caused by external influences) which were resolved incredibly quickly by the manager, Stathis We can't praise him highly enough for his service. We would definitely book again.

Fabulous family holiday

We had a fantastic 2 week holiday in Villa Helios. The villa was perfect in every way. The detail of the villa has been thoroughly thought through to make it a home from home. The location was superb. Such a beautiful, peaceful location but within walking distance to a few tavernas. Either along the track to Litsarda, or in Xirosterni. We also found a couple of truly excellent restaurants nearby in Almyrida and Vamos. We particularly loved Ombros Gialos for a swim and snorkel, the closest cove to the villa ( only 15 min drive ). Stathis was extremely kind and helpful and the welcome food and drink parcel was very much appreciated. We also had a top recommendation from Patrick for a fabulous restaurant in Chania. All- in-all a perfect holiday!

Delightful 2 week stay at Villa Helios

We had the pleasure of a delightful 2 week stay at Villa Helios, albeit in somewhat strange covid19 times. When we arrived late evening at the villa, Patrick was on hand to welcome us and make ensure we had everything we need. He had also very kindly left us a welcome pack with essential supplies, beer and wine! it also included enough for breakfast and even lunch on our first day. The villa had everything we need and more for our 2 weeks, it was spotless on our arrival and included additional cleaning products. The villa is in a quiet, rural location with easy access to local shops and restaurants although wider travel really requires a car. Much of our time was spent enjoying the pool and views at villa Helios but we also ventured out to local beaches and restaurants. A visit to the old venetian harbour at Chania is a must do trip and is only 45 minutes away. I would also like to thank Patrick and his team for how quickly and effectively they resolved the aircon issue which we had on arrival. Thanks again to Patrick for being the perfect host and would highly recommend a stay at Villa Helios.

Top Ferienhaus mit toller Ausstattung

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Villa Helios sehr genossen! Die Namen der 2 Villen (Helios & Apokoronas) sind ein wenig verwirrend...Die Anreise vom Flughafen Chania war mit Mietwagen problemlos, der Caretaker Stahtis war schon da und zu dem gab es auch noch ein sehr gut durchdachtes Willkommenspaket mit Brot, Wasser, Marmelade, Käse, Magarine, Tee, Kaffee, Wein, Bier etc. Das Haus liegt auf einem sehr großzūgigen Grundstück, sehr ruhig und man hat einen tollen Blick auf die eindrucksvollen Berge als auch auf das Meer vor der Halbinsel vor Chania. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und auch hochwertig ausgestattet inkl. der Bettwäsche & Handtücher. Auch in der Küche hat uns nix gefehlt. Das Dorf Vamos ist nicht weit weg (ca. 5 Min mit dem Auto) - ansonsten waren wir zum Abendessen in Georgiopolis (ca. 18 min) oder aber auch in Chania & Rethinon ( > 35 min). In Villa hat jedes der 3 Schlafzimmer entweder eine Terasse oder eine Dachterasse, so dass hier jeder auch mal ein ruhiges Plätzchen für sich finden ksnn - falls gewünscht. Das Haus als auch die Aussenanlagen waren sehr schön sauber - wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Am meisten haben wir die entspannten Stunden morgens und abends dort genossen. Man hört quasi keinen Verkehr - nur das stetige leise Bimmeln der benachbarten Schafe und das war sehr authentisch und entspannend. Wir danken Patrick & Team für den tollen Aufenthalt und können die Villa zu 100% weiterempfehlen.
