This peaceful holiday home in Auw near Prüm offers a scenic retreat in the northwestern Schneifel foothills, surrounded by forests, valleys, and streams. With views stretching into Belgium and toward the “Schwarzer Mann” peak, it’s one of the most picturesque spots in the German-Belgian High Eifel. Opposite the house is a restaurant with a playground, and more dining options are nearby in Bleialf, Prüm, Olzheim, and across the border.

Outdoor lovers will find 160 km of marked hiking trails in the North Eifel Nature Park and High Fagnes, plus cycling routes like the Eifel-Ardennes and Kylltal paths. Excursions include the Bleialf visitor mine, Prüm’s basilica, and Belgium’s Krippana nativity exhibition. Winter sports are available at Wolfsschlucht and Manderfeld, while the Eifel Zoo delights younger guests.
