Beautiful Crete
We (family of 5 adults) had a fantastic, relaxing break in this lovely, secluded villa - beautiful views, well-equipped inside and outside. Brilliant location, good access to north and south-west coasts, variety of activities within reasonable distance. An abundance of local restaurants, food amazing! Will definitely be returning!

Many Happy Returns
We have stayed at Villa Artemis many times and always loved it. The position is excellent with wide views across the valley and easy access to both the sea and the mountains. Highly recommended! Bathroom facilities are not good for a property of this size. Could the downstairs be made into a 'wet room'? and a proper separate shower installed in the upstairs?I know that families with small children like to have a proper bath, but relatively few adults bath now, so perhaps a really good shower and a smaller bath (or a shower with a deep base which little ones would find fun!).

The Perfect Greek Getaway
We absolutely loved staying at the Villa Artemis. The grounds were beautiful with amazing views. The pool was a really good size and the poolside furniture was really comfortable and just right! Everything was very clean and well equipped. Nearby Vrysses had all the basics covered for supplies and we loved the relaxed countryside. We found lots of things to do in the surrounding areas. Lovely beach down at Georgioupolis, Chania old port, Kournas lake. Gorgeous little hillside villages with roaming goats and family tavernas. The bedding was clean and crisp and we loved all of the balconies. The furniture was comfortable and it was great to have the BBQ area. It felt like a real oasis. The situation of the villa is particularly wonderful too, outdoors is completely private just overlooking the olive groves and that panoramic view. It is hard to find fault. It would be good to have more plastic plates, cups, bowls for eating outdoors and around the pool. More pool toys (lilos, floats etc) would have been good with the kids. It would be nice to have some games to play indoors and inside. A better recycling system would be really good. Separate labelled bins to show what goes where would've been useful.

Perfect retreat
If you want to have comfort in a rural but not remote part of Crete, then Villa Artimis is superb. It is spacious and well-equipped with a large pool and garden, and good views across the valley. Over the years we have made a few suggestions, but none this time as we think it's just right!!
