Apartment 5 - Signorelli, Luca Signorelli (1441 - 1523)
The tuscan apartment is named after Luca Signorelli (1441-1523) painter of the Italian Renaissance.

A Tuscan cottage, built from travertine stones, terracotta bricks and tiles. This detached private accommodation is uniquely placed on the higher part of the 800 year old ex Franciscan monastery.
Surrounded by lawns, bay leave hedges and rosemary bushes, the cottage boasts wonderful views of the rolling hills, olive groves and farmland. The cottage is "open plan" with lots of natural light entering from the various windows.

The large lounge and sitting area is well furnished with a comfortable sofa set, coffee table and a Biodynamic fireplace that heats the whole apartment during the cooler off season months. WIFI and satellite TV has been installed to kept you up to date with international events and news.

The well equipped colourful Tuscan kitchen has all the basics to cook a great meal and is furnished with a wooden dining table & chairs made from Cypress wood found in the forests of Sant' Antonio.
The bedroom is furnished with original 18th century furniture and has a double bed with an orthopedic mattress, plenty of draws and wardrobe space. We provide all our guests with quality cotton bed and bath linen.
The light coloured bathroom consists of a toilet, bidet, large sink, a big "corner" bathtub with shower and separate shower on the opposite side of the room.

Outdoors is a private area furnished with garden tables, chairs and sun beds to dine al fresco or to enjoy morning breakfast. The cottage has its own barbeque built from terracotta bricks for those who wish to cook outdoors.

The apartments have been restored in one of the most ancient monasteries in Montepulciano, Siena, and they are the ideal home for relaxing weekends or holidays, amongst the famous green rolling Tuscan hills, close to Pienza, Montalcino and Siena.

The apartments are all completely unique and different one from the other regarding dimension, style and set up. The accomodations have been designed with maximum attention to details with all the comforts required to spend an unforgettable memorable holiday amongst the green Tuscan hills.

The rates are in Euros and do not include central heating. This is to be paid separately on a consumption basis.

All the apartments of Sant’ Antonio are self catering and are fully furnished with linen, towels etc and all kitchen utensils.
Linen is changed twice a week, on your arrival and mid week.
